He’s got crazy movement at 98. He probably should get more of a chance than 1 mistake in his MLB debut, and it wasn’t even that bad of a pitch. Agreed but the likelihood of us discovering a guy nobody else has is extremely low as this season has shown but you are correct.

Doesn't it seem like everybody on this team has a long sad story of being basically out of baseball and driving a truck only to be DISCOVERED by the brewers. Not a good sign.

Lindblom is at 90 pitches already. He can't pitch past this inning. It's not May. I should have used blue.

I for one agree with Counsell that you cannot burn out your bullpen here in May. You gotta ride with Lindbloom here. We have all summer.

Trading a lottery ticket for Mathias, claiming Yardley, signing Phelps, Gyorko, Anderson has been fine. But he'd have to take the L on Lindblom, Narvaez, Smoak, Garcia, Sogard, Morrison, Holt, Healy, Peterson, and the early results of the San Diego trade. I would agree with this except Mathias never plays so his impact has been tempered.

Smoak making last year of Travis Shaw look like Rod Carew. I heard Thames was available at the deadline. Would have loved to get him back. He hasn't been great but maybe a burst of energy in the clubhouse to see him back.

Straight up Justin Smoak should not be playing period. The failure to add a bat in that spot very disappointing.

He'd be fine as a bench guy. He's had the knack for some late inning clutch hits this year. Gyorko should still be starting 5-6 days a week at 3B. You are correct sir.
