This team is so bad at so many fundamental things like baserunning it is indeed a miracle they are still playing. Won't last long playing like this but a major accomplishment all the same.

Maddon is a top 5 manager. Cubs failure don't land at his feet. He will not be unemployed long. -
I agree with this for the most part. Anyone who says you feel great bringing him into a one run is lying. It is hard to pitch in this years mlb with one pitch you are willing to throw with the game on the line. A one run is a situation when you sit dead red and try to hit it out. It can be done rather easily it appears this season. Hader isn't terrible but he isn't shutdown either.

The coming sweep here is going to make it tough to turn the tide in a do or die situation against a team that has won what 30 straight?? Momentum matters and we aren't going to have it.

Not going to happen against Flaherty...the Brewers had their chances...just absolutely choked. It's disgusting to think they SHOULD/Could be up a game in the division right now if they had taken care of business in Colorado. Tomorrow feels like a Rockies shellacking to be honest. No Braun No Cain. No Moose probably Pina catching. Yeah not happening. On to Washington

Unfortunate but not surprising really. This team is depleted and running on fumes. It took a ton to get this far. they don't have much left honestly. This could have been it. You can't be pitching an Albers there but they have nobody left.

This game has a bad vibe to it and they have nobody to blame on this one but themselves. You have to get 27 outs. Now three more.

They are what they are all season. Bad baserunning has killed them all year long. Tough to overcome in a playoff type game.

Yes. Your wrong. I hope I am. Just being here is a win all things considered where he started. Just spoiled by Hiura perhaps but nothing wrong with a solid 4th if not quite a regular.
