Has Hiura ever played in the OF? Does he have any kind of an arm to play out there? I'd like to see Braun at 1B, however, you can't just take anyone and throw them out in the OF. I think he's athletic enough to do it. Generally your weakest arm plays left think Kris Davis. I think if they work with him in the spring he could pull it off.

Pete Alonzo hitting 50 homers is an amazing thing to me. I hadn't heard much about him heading into the season but what he's done is pretty special.

I wish Counsell would let Taylor get a full game in instead of Hernan in the outfield. Maybe Austin even. You need a right handed bat I get it but Hernan is not a good answer.

Guys on base are scary with Chase bomb tendencies. Keep them off base and make them solo shots please.

This is exactly what we needed. 3 in the first. This is set up nicely. Sweep the Pirates and hope the Cubs win the next two. Start the week 1 game back of the Cards and 2 up on the Cubs.

They have 9 hits...they just aren’t getting timely ones. True. They crushed Pirates pitching. Hopefully Brewers can do the same.

Cubs just have very little offensive punch. Baez being out hurts but they just aren't hitting.

If they could have scratched out a couple runs last night and got the sweep the crew would be looking really good.

You take for granted a guy like Spangenberg where an outs an outs. Hiura has work to do.

Yes, unfortunately. Although I do think his injury has motivated the team a bit the past week. Yes. Someone in the outfield has to start to step up beside Braun. Grisham Cain Gamel whoever is out there needs to hit a bit more. No one is Yelich and you know it's going to be a drop off but in order to make it they are going to need to help Grandal Moose and Hiura.

Not so much that it was the guys first HR. More the fact that Hauser throws a 0-2 pitch right down the heart of the plate. Seems like Brewer pitchers do that way too often on 0-2 and 1-2 counts You can't say that here. True but you can't say that here.
