  1. Wow are you kidding me?? Counsell needs to check these guys tonight. No excuse for this showing.
  2. The question now is what to do about Albers and Williams for the weekend. One or both should be on the hot seat. Jacob Barnes needs to be brought back along with a true long man.
  3. Williams needs a change to get lefties out. He is a roogy right now.
  4. I was about to post this. 2ip-13ER. 48.50ERA. Under 2ERA the innings before. The guy has to be hurt. Only explanation that makes any sense.
  5. Yelich with 3 out of 4 tonight. The ab we needed contact he took three strikes. This is maddening to me but is what makes baseball great at the same time. The one guy I want swinging the bat is Yelich. Frustrating for sure.
  6. Wow. Scoop looks defeated. Contrast to Dozier who looks in his element. Funny how different people react to same things differently. Adam Jones refused to be traded from Orioles because he loves it despite them being terrible. Maybe Scoop felt the same way.
  7. The failure to score in the 3rd killed momentum once again in my opinion. Yelich is fantastic but needed to put a ball in play. Took three strikes looking. Would love to see him hunt the rbi there like the star he is. Brewers have to bear down in these situations in order to max potential.
  8. Cubs down tonight. Would have been awesome to come home in first place. Cubs get revamped Royals after Padres so we can't expect much help from them.
  9. Bellinger is acting like he has never hit a home run before. That dude needs to hit the dirt in my opinion. No need for that at all. Also scoop is looking like he doesn't want to be here. It is easy to put up numbers when you are 35 games back. I dunno if he's scared frustrated or both.
  10. Unless Scoop is Yuni B bad at short you have to give the guy a shot. Let him hit two bombs and then turn it over to Arcia in the 8th and 9th.
  11. Scoop is an upgrade for what its worth to our overall depth but if he isn't playing short someone is going to be sitting quite a bit. I think scoop should play short and move to second once you get to the late innings for Arcia. Not getting a starter is a major problem. Jimmy Nelson could cost brewers a playoff spot two years in a row. Who would have thought.
  12. Lineup being deeper paying off big time. Even when they don't score pitchers have to work hard.
  13. So that'll be a no on figuring out why. My bad I'll read your baseball prospectus piece.
  14. Be careful bro. The baseball tonight gang on this board will get on you for having an opinion. No they won't. The question is whether you can identify why. Nope but I see you are treading lightly out of fear so do you my man.
