  1. Did Counsell forget that Corbin Burnes exists? He hasn’t pitched since his debut like 10 days ago
  2. Its been too long since the Padres are relevant, I hope they turn it around soon. They have 10 top 100 prospects now so it seems they are getting closer
  3. Someone found 4 tweets from Jacob Nottingham in 2012 using the N word
  4. Not trying to take away from the bad things Hader said, but I saw old tweets from Kyle Schwarber, Mike Trout and Whit Merrifield all dug up this morning with homophobic slurs
  5. Sorry but that was stupid. All so Miley could pitch 1 more inning
  6. With the way this lineup is hitting this is probably the best chance for the rest of the game to score and Wade Miley is sent out to to bat
  7. I’d let Williams pitch next inning even if it’s a save situation
  8. Jesús is simply unbelievable. Didn’t let the all star selection go to his head, and to think many people thought he was expendable before tinge season, nobody including myself imagined this output from him
  9. Peralta didn’t impress if they were scouting him, i hope he isn’t traded anyways
  10. Let Burnes go the 9th, especially if we score another run. I’ve been waiting for so long to see him in a Brewers uniform
  11. That would be a CC move. Put in a guy with no experience, or first MLB appearance ever, in a high leverage situation. If he’s fine putting guys like Barnes and Zagurski in close games, I’m sure he’s fine with that. I wouldn’t put Burnes in if they were winning or tied, only losing like they are now. I just really wanna see him pitch lol
  12. If they’re not gonna trade Burnes, Hiura or Peralta then I thought they’d have to throw in an extra. I figure Woodruff, Phillips and Brown is an ideal package for Machado and Erceg and Nottingham would’ve been enough for Britton, although not sure I want him cause I didn’t realize Britton has pitched bad this year. However, he was one of he top relievers in all of baseball from 2014-2017 and he could likely regain that form. Erceg has underperformed this year and Nottingham underperformed for 2-3 years until he reaches Colorado Springs this year, I don’t think teams value them as highly as many here think. I rethought my original package and I’d only trade 4 players rather than 5 due to Britton’s poor play but it seems like the Orioles are now adamant to include him in a package for Machado.
  13. That’s way to much. Way, way too much for two guys that won’t be Brewers a season from now. I disagree, cause the Orioles would be getting quantity over quality
  14. Very interesting that Zack Brown was scratched and makes it pretty clear that’s why Woodruff isn’t throwing either. A package of Woodruff, Brown, Phillips, and maybe 1-2 more pieces like Nottingham and Erceg to get the deal done if Britton is involved? 5 minor leaguers for 2 too oevel MLB players is reasonable especially if we are able to avoid trading Burnes, Peralta and Hiura. Cubs fans will be pissed if we keep our top 3 prospects cause that’s all I see them saying regarding the Brewers and the Machado rumors. I would hate to see Phillips and Brown traded though but if it’s for Machado I’m all for it. Phillips is blocked anyways and I really hope he catches on somewhere if he can’t here.
  15. Is Britton a rental as well?
  16. With the emergence of Peralta, I think I'd do this. When folks have been throwing out packages with two of our top guys and 3-5 total players I was out. But if it's just one guy I think I go for it, and that's coming from someone who's been fairly staunch on not giving up our controlled P prospects. Nope, don’t give up Burnes for a rental. The goal is to make the postseason for multiple years not just this year and Burnes (if he pans out) helps with that more than Machado, unless he resigns with us which he won’t. If the rumors that they want 2 controllable starters, outfield help, and a catcher prospect are true, I’m offering Woodruff, Ortiz, Broxton, and Nottingham. Zack Brown is another close to MLB ready pitching prospect that is performing well too. I’m not giving up Burnes, Peralta or Hiura unless it’s for a player with multiple years of control like Yelich.
  17. If they can get this done without giving up Burnes, Hiura, or Peralta I’m all for it, but I don’t want to give up a single one of those 3 for a half season rental who will get $200 million from the Yankees or another team this offseason. Maybe Woodruff, Broxton, Ray, Medeiros?
  18. (Deleted), super excited to see Burnes up for the first time and for Nottingham and Orf to be back up
  19. Feel like this would’ve been a good opportunity to see what we have in Corbin Burnes, they seem to think his future could be as a reliever based on his recent outings, which is annoying.
