Aguilar looks like he may be a hitter just not a slugger , the more I see him just make contact and drive the ball effortlessly , it’s nice to see -

I think the root of the negativity this year .. has been the fact we have had guys deserving of a chance over guys like Drake, Bandy, Sogard , etc and we are frustrated beyond belief that Sogard gets 9 lives over a guy like Orf... and Franklin... what the heck is he even doing around still ... lol. Drake was rightfully jettisoned eventually but there were better arms at AAA even before that, and finally we rid ourselves of Bandy for Bentsncourt or Nottingham right? No , sorry , Some journeyman catcher who has a hard time OPSing Aguilar’s weight. Negativity and sarcasm are just our way of coping with strange decisions that at the end of the day probably don’t make a difference between a loss or win at the back end of the roster but as we have seen CC uses the back end of the roster more than most teams (even NL teams), and much more than he should. It’s like we need to take the sharp objects away from him so he doesn’t cut himself lol. -
He should be wearing a SkySox Jersey at best

Are we sure Counsell wasn't playing Sogard so much so that he ended up with a longer hit less streak than him? Now no reason to play Sogard. Bold strategy, Cotton, let’s see if it pays off ..

I can get behind this 100% not that it’s our call but yeah good work should be rewarded - just like there should be some form of decline penalty for absurd deals. It’s nice to see some teams moving away from those bad bad deals but it’s not a perfect system by any means ! Right and I don't blame them at all for making him show it again. Look how they were almost burned by Villar. Someone said his agent made some comments not happy about him not getting a deal last offseason, would lead me to believe they want to do exactly what I'm getting at by setting him for life. As long as they don't have some crazy expectations (which they really can't given his arby situation) you'd think something could get worked out if does well for the rest of the year Completely agree. Let’s see what he does the back half of this year. If he leads us to the promised land... I think we have our answer ! Side bar- boy that Hader fella can throw a baseball.
