I don't see any downside to that. Saladino is playing great, while Arcia has been among the least valuable players in baseball this year. If the Brewers are going to make a serious run this year, I don't think Saladino is the answer, but Arcia doesn't deserve to play ahead of him right now. And a trip to the minors could spark a change for the better. If the Brewers are going to make a serious run this year, Arcia needs to be hitting and playing solid SS. I am starting to come around to the idea that a couple weeks to a month in Colorado Springs might be the key to doing that. If he can go down to AAA, and rediscover his stroke and more importantly, his plate discipline, he can hopefully come back up in July and be the SS the team is going to need. I agree 100% but I don't think that is very likely, unfortunately. Just doesn't seem like a Brewers move, even if it's a no brainer! He really does need that sort of wake up call though, I believe. Up there he looks so lost, he's moving his feet all over with every pitch. Just looks super uncomfortable. Defensively , yes, he is a STUD. But, to be a playoff team, can you have a Pina hitting around .200 with the occasional pop, Arcia trying hard to get under .200, and a pitcher at the bottom of the order?
