  1. Both new DSL catchers with HRs today. Salazar is still only 16, and has thrown out a couple stealing as well.
  2. He’ll be a mix of Perkins and Hamilton. That’ll play on this team more than any other. But it’s not sexy.
  3. I wonder how many games we’ve gotten the whole Rattlers gang together (Pena, Ragsdale, Dinges, Fischer, Adamczewski, Payne, and Bitonti).
  4. It’s in that article. Pretty sweet setup seeing as guys were staying with host families not too long ago. Good to see the Brewers taking care of them.
  5. The amount of bodies we throw at these lower levels…. Even with the biggest signing classes, they still keep adding to them with late blooming pitchers.
  6. Bitonti somehow looks bigger in the overalls jersey.
  7. https://centropinenash.com/ That is the apartment complex they have the players staying at... Dang.
  8. I just wanted one of these young arms to have a velo jump, just to prove we could. Makes the others in the high 80s / low 90s a bit more comforting.
  9. Whatever they're doing, it's pretty subtle. The Dodgers stuff was just so blatant that it was obvious what was going on. Pages was basically doing jumping jacks. I don't think I've picked up on anything specifically the Brewers have done.
  10. Yep that checks out with what he’s been doing. Renz and Bentley are also usually below 90.
  11. All these other idiots better not ruin all this for us. We seem to be the only one taking the lower levels seriously.
  12. Wilson might be the most fun team to watch now. Everyone is popping off. Ebel with another HR.
  13. Taj Marchand was brought up in today’s Future Projection pod as a guy for the Brewers in the first. He’s around 80-something on BA’s board.
  14. Juan Ortuno: April: .222 / .349 / .264 May: .321 / .463 / .547 Brady Ebel: April: .167 / .340 / .218 May: .302 / .430 / .460 Handelfry Encarnacion: April: .198 / .330 / .326 May: .231 / .398 / .523 All have at least 1:1 BB:K in May. Oh boy. Get Frias in there (after adding Mills), and that team is fun as hell after looking dreadful
  15. Stick with the plan. First round will be a 17 year old high school “reach” or the best college bat, either way they will take 3/4 of the slot value. I like Zion Rose and Rocco Maniscalco. Rose is a Chicago kid (southside, thankfully). All college arms and bats for the rest of 2-10 saving as much as possible. We don’t have the pool money to go over slot by much if at all. Rounds 11-20: Go nuts.
  16. Ortuno with his second HR of the game and second HR of the year. His OPS is up 70 points today.
  17. Those Wilson offensive stat lines will probably never be great after that terrible start… But they sure are trying.
  18. Need Priester to come around if only to make our starting rotation in Milwaukee all 25 and under. Would be neat.
  19. Is it finally clicking for Bitonti? Hell of a week.
  20. I believe there were 21 balls in play at 100+ EV yesterday. My guess would be that you take ~10mph off of each one.
  21. They do have better statcast data than any of the other leagues at least.
  22. It would be a lot more comforting if we got a glimpse of guys getting their velo up. I get a little jealous seeing teams like the Red Sox immediately bumping them up a couple ticks (granted those are college guys and our oldest high schooler of this bunch is Letson). Hard to be patient.
