  1. Missed this he sounds like a good Badger prospect. Caught this on an article on him: He held offers from Nebraska, VCU, Xavier, George Mason, Utah and a host of other mid-majors.
  2. Donald showed in the report I just looked at as limited but I don't doubt your update. Kupp is questionable and DNP all week but sure he will go as well. Keke still not recovered, always worry once someone is out more than a week with concussion, that can be career ending sometimes.
  3. I may be forgetting a game but the last playoff game against the Rams was awful. It was like last years Niner game where I had convinced myself we we were going to win. Donatell had brilliant defensive game plan but Favre was at his playoff worst and Ahman had a killer fumble.
  4. The Steelers deserve it for laying down last week. Dolphin fans are smiling
  5. Do Cardinal fans wear cheese hats? If not they have nothing on us.
  6. Agreed, plus obviously those of us who work Monday's love Saturday playoff games although Covid takes some of the fun out of it.
  7. Long term forecast doesn't look like it, 25 on Saturday. I don't like those weather games when we are the favorite anyway, no need for an equalizer.
  8. I know he wasn't talking about the play but shades of Matt Hasslebeck there from Brees.
  9. Welp, Rams it is. Thinking we will get Saturday game as that makes sense timing wise and Brees/Brady showdown will be the marquee game. Nice to have those two teams beat each other up, if it's a close game the winner may be a little gassed for the NFCC. I am not too worried about the Rams but it's the playoffs so I will be worried by the time it gets here.
  10. I was just looking at the stats to compare them, Tampa isn't far behind the Pack at all offensively and scores 7+ points more a game than LA. Defensively the Rams are better (#1 and Tampa #6) but not near 7 points a game better. And I fear an elite O more than an elite D, I don't see anyone shutting down our offense like we saw today. Our Achilles heal is getting overrun on D while our offense sputters for a few drives and that hasn't happened much and even less recently.
  11. Yeah only downside here is if the WFT wins we miss out on them but Tampa has a good D and a much better O and QB than the Rams
  12. Rams get a FG on this drive and they are looking pretty good
  13. I don't disagree I would still rather play the Rams than Tampa though. Plus the Seahawks are right behind the Vikes as a team that I just can't root for, at least as long as Carroll is there.
  14. Not with Goff looking like he does now but the defense looks steller
  15. I would argue you save the aggressiveness until you have a better understanding if it is warranted. The Bills didn't put up 50, those FG's add up in a close game. To be fair I don't really know how good the Colts are in the red zone, if 4th and goal at the 4 is as high percentage as it is for us maybe I can see it. Rams up by 10..
  16. I didn't see the end as was out running an errand but Colts passed on 4 sure points earlier. I think the new aggressive on 4th down thing can really backfire, you still have to play percentages especially in the playoffs. Coaches do it because fans like it and won't hold them accountable but I would hate to lose a game in the playoffs because we went for it on 4th and 2 at the 12 in the first quarter.
  17. I don't think anyone is judging MVS based on Sundays drop alone, he is an enigma for sure. I was thinking this week about the Jones drops in the 2010 postseason, neither cost us the game but in both cases it sure felt like it might and the defense did have to make stops at the end of both games. It's sort of like having a talented RB who fumbles, they call them coach killers since it is hard to give up on them but they can really burn you if you stick with them. I understand what MVS brings to our offense but I worry it is sort of in his head now, we have seen him show great hands at times. I can only remember 2 off the top of my head but I am sure he has probably dropped closer to 4-5 catchable deep balls this season. To his and MLF's offense credit we get an incredible amount of those opportunities but he has to finish them at a higher rate, you work all game to setup those deep chances. But you are right, nothing is changing anymore this season and hopefully he has a big post season and we win the SB.
  18. I can't decide who I want to win this one, the Bills have always sort of been my favorite AFC team going back to when they had Lofton but I want JT to do well and I can't stand Diggs.
  19. The 7th seed in the AFC had 11 wins so there is that
  20. Yeah I love watching wildcard weekend when we have a bye and 10 hours of elimination game football will be pretty cool. I also like just one team having the bye, makes the fight for that spot pretty interesting. I hope they don't go to 8 teams.
  21. I was one who wanted Mack but in retrospect it was a good thing we didn't. I don't think he saves 2018 but maybe we get a couple of more wins and he saves MM which would have been bad. It's hard to say what would have happened but Gary looks like he has a Mack like ceiling and the coaching change has injected a lot of life into the team. The Bears gambled big time Trubisky would pan out and lost, heck if I was them I would see what the market is for Mack so they can start a rebuild, he is getting pretty old. As other have said I would love to see Tampa eliminated, not worried that we can't beat them but ideally we get easier game with Redskins or Bears in division round and then have showdown with Saints or Seahawks in NFCC. Always hoping for easiest path but of course that blew up in our face in 2007.
  22. Rodgers, Lindsey, Bak, and Adams first team AP all pro. Alexander and Z second team. That's 5 straight for Bak, he has to be approaching HOF status, something we haven't had a lot of in the last 25+ year run.
  23. I only care about the bye. Meh ... I’m happy to have the bye, but guys get hurt in practice too. Losing Bahktiari has really bummed me out. The bye is so huge, winning 3 in a row against good teams is a much different calculation than 4 in a row. Plenty of SB caliber teams get clipped in the first round.
  24. I love Saturday playoff games but don't care quite as much since I avoid the bars during COVID. But still nice to have a sleep in morning after a playoff game. I will put in for PLT the day after the SB tomorrow, did it last year and it didn't work out but still enjoyed the SB more.
  25. I used to make jokes about Masked Singer ads during games when that first came out but apparently that show is a big hit. Lowest common denominator TV, I will never get it.
