  1. I mean we were kind of screwed once Tonyan didn't get out of bounce but still should have got a chuck off into the endzone
  2. Well that sucks, was looking forward to a hail mary
  3. OK, well it's in Rodgers hand down 6, can't ask for more in this game.
  4. I know it's a long shot these days but I am still of the opinion in these situations you try the onside kick. You have to get a 3 and out regardless so why not give a shot?
  5. I do feel like in a weird year what the hell take a shot with Fuller. We are probably getting 3 comp picks so not so devastating to overpay a bit for Fuller.
  6. Does this debacle change our trade deadline strategy? Not sure if anyone left to help our D...
  7. The fix is in I guess, that was weird
  8. It took a penalty and it wasn't pretty but we made a stop!
  9. He did throw deep to Adams and then was looking deep on 2nd down. But expecting Sternberger to make some moves in the open field didn't give us much of a chance there.
  10. I keep saying it but we should really scrap the 3-4, never liked it too much reliance on deception and if you don't get turnovers and sacks you get steamrolled.
  11. Yuck, maybe we really aren't all that good. The defense exposed again,a good offense will only get you so far.
  12. I know!!! Inside the 10 on 3rd and goal.
  13. I hope MLF recognizes in the offseason that Mike Pettine doesn't have a clue. I don't really trust this franchise to make wise choices on getting rid of coaches after the MM/Capers era. Would it even be MLF's call? It seemed like the org decided to keep Pettine not MLF.
  14. I felt like we could have tried a pass and then clocked it and thrown a hail mary pretty easily, didn't the Vikes get a FG with like 20 seconds and no TO's against us in the first game?
  15. Big 4th down coming but it seems just as easy for the Vikes O as it does for Packers.
  16. I thought he was going to make it easy but Vikes did a good job stopping him in his tracks, but yeah he looked like he got enough. Not a lot of camera angles in Covid NFL?
  17. I think only once they faced a tough third down and that was after a penalty. Cook looks like he can get whatever he wants all day, hoping for some adjustments there.
  18. Fuller is on the last year of his deal, the 5th year option on his original rookie contract. He is, for the most part, a rental, although he would likely recoup a pick for the Packers depending on the size and type of deal he signs in the offseason. I would imagine he's the type that would garner a 4th round compensatory pick, so I would imagine the Packers could probably get him for a 4th rounder, while eating the rest of his deal this year. That would, in essence, mean that they would only be trading the Texans salary relief for him. I suppose it's possible the Packers may go as high as a 3rd round pick for him. Thanks! I'd think considering the 4th as a comp pick, the Texans would need them to go higher just to justify the trade. I guess there IS a difference between a late true 4th and a later comp pick, but barely. But would I trade a (presumably late) 3rd for the rest of the season of Fuller and a comp 4th? Absolutely. They would get the pick a year earlier then they would with the comp pick, plus they don't have any risk of losing the comp pick by signing other FA's. Add in the salary relief and a 4th seems about fair if that would be his comp pick value.
  19. Garrett was a Cowboy so got a longer leash with Jerry and the fan base. MM was more of a typical JJ move, hire the big name to appease the fans when even doormats like Cleveland and the Jets passed on him. Jones really just needs turnover control to a real GM but I hope he doesn't. Philly in 1st place in the East at 2-4-1, having 4 team divisions may finally make the NFL look stupid this year.
  20. I think that’s being kind. The head coach of a Power 5 college team may be his ceiling now. I think he already mailed it in at the end of his Packer career. But you knew someone was going to be stupid and give him one last contract, glad it was the Cowboys.
  21. And they win on last play of game, now 3-3. Man Atlanta has blown an obscene amount of games this season. The curse of that SB loss I guess.
  22. We are not even running the clock...
  23. Yeah a TD there makes it game. Now let's put it away with a long TD drive. Even a FG would put it away. Starting to think the defense is going to have to make stop to win this.
