  1. Would Hiura & Small get you Snell? I know giving up O seems counter-intuitive, but paired with a Hader trade for bats it could work. Urias moves to 2B, Snell/Woodruff/Burnes anchor your rotation for the next 3 years, & Hader trade can focus on an impact bat.
  2. Hader, Lutz, & Ray for Dominic Smith and JD Davis Mets get their closer, 4th OF in Ray and future OF in Lutz. Sign Lemaheiu for 2B and move McNeil to 3B. Brewers lock down 1B & 3B for the next 4 years. Hope that Mitchell is ready in 2 years to take over for Cain. Cain (CF) Hiura (2B) Yelich (LF) Davis (3B) Smith (1B) Garcia (RF) Narvaez/Nottingham © Urias/Arcia (SS)
  3. FA Signings: Tommy LaStella (2/16m) Ryan Braun (1/7m) Trades: Josh Hader for Tony Gonsolin, Edwin Rios, & Michael Busch Orlando Arcia for Lottery Tickets Arbitration Offered: Brandon Woodruff (5m) Corey Knebel (6m) Omar Narvaez (3.5m) Eric Lauer (2m) Non-Tenders: Alex Claudio Manny Pina Options Picked Up: Jedd Gyorko Options Declined: Ryan Braun (4m buyout) Eric Sogard (500k buyout) Position Players: C: Narvaez/Nottingham 1B: Rios/Gyorko 2B: Hiura SS: Urias 3B: LaStella/Gyorko LF: Yelich CF:Cain/Gamel RF: Garcia/Braun DH: Vogelbach/Braun Starting Pitching: Woodruff/Burnes/Gonsolin/Lauer/Lindblom Relief Pitching: Williams/Knebel/Houser/Peralta/Suter/Rasmussen/Yardley/Topa Payroll: 94.9m
  4. Let's get the ball rolling on this thread with a lot of work to do this offseason! Here is a list of FA to get everyone started: https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2020/09/2020-21-mlb-free-agents.html
  5. Not flashy, but how about this? Dodgers: Hader Get their lock down Closer for 2 guys that are luxuries for them. Gonsolin is replaced by FA or Prospect and Rios is redundant with Bellinger/Turner (assuming he resigns). Brewers: Tony Gonsolin, Edwin Rios, & Michael Busch Brewers get a 1-2-3 top of the rotation with Woody/Burnes/Gonsolin for the next 4 years. Rios steps right in at 1B with 5 years of control. Busch is a big time bat that could develop at 3B, 2B, or 1B. C:Narvaez/Nottingham 1B: Rios 2B: Hiura SS: Arcia 3B: Urias/Gyorko LF: Yelich CF: Cain RF: Garcia DH: Vogelbach SP: Woodruff/Burnes/Gonsolin/Lauer/Lindblom RP: Williams/Peralta/Knebel/Houser/Suter/Rassmussen/Yardley/Topa
  6. What are you doing with Avisail?? 350-400 ABs each for Cain/Avi/Frazier. Time split between CF/RF/DH. Cain will need the load management and allows CC to keep guys fresh.
  7. Brewers: Gallo, Dominguez, Frazier Rangers: Devi Garcia, Andujar, Lutz Yankees: Hader Gallo and Frazier plug into 1B/RF for next 2 years. Dominguez ready to take over in RF after.
  8. 40-Man Roster Control (via minimum/arb/options): 2027 - Yelich 2026 - Peralta 2025 - Hiura, Wahl, Ray, Supak, Taylor, Ray, Perdomo 2024 - Woodruff, Houser, Urias, Lauer, Burnes, Nottingham, Frietas 2023 - Hader 2022 - Cain, Narvaez, Arcia, Gamel, Suter, Lindblom, Healy 2021 - Garcia, Knebel, Pina, Braun, Phelps, Holt, Smoak, Sogard, Gyorko Only player on our roster that we don't have at least partial control of after this year is Anderson.
  9. An little unconventional look at a possible lineup vs RHP Cain - CF Holt - 3B Yelich -LF Hiura - 2B Narvaez - C Garcia - RF Smoak - 1B Sogard - SS vs LHP Cain - CF Braun -1B Yelich - LF Hiura - 2B Garcia - RF Gyorko - 3B Pina - C Arcia - SS I think Braun (35%) and Holt (34.5%) ability to put the ball in play on a regular basis up the middle and solid OBP make for great 2-hitters. Yelich/Hiura have more opportunities to drive in runs in the 3/4 spot.
  10. SP (5): Woodruff Anderson Houser Peralta Lauer OF (5) Yelich Cain Garcia Braun Gamel INF (6) Huira Smoak Holt Sogard Gyroko Arcia Catcher (2) Narvaez Pina Pen (8) Hader Suter Phelps Lindblom Claudio Black Wahl Feyereisen IL (2) Urias Knebel DEPTH AAA Pitchers: Burnes, D Williams, Supak, Perdomo, Yardley AAA Postion: Nottingham, Freitas, Taylor, Ray, Broxton, Mathias, Rodriguez, Healy I would guess Urias and Knebel are up by mid-May. Barring other injuries, Feyereisen and Arcia go down to AAA.
  11. PA by position in 2019: C (706), 1B (697), 2B (699), 3B (706), SS (640), LF (724), CF (750), RF (734), DH (43) If we used those numbers as a rough guide, depending on batter order construction I could see something along the lines of: C: Narvaez (450) Pina (250) 1B: Smoak (450) Braun (150) Gyorko (100) 2B: Hiura (550) Sogard (100) Holt (50) 3B: Holt (350) Gyorko (200) Sogard (150) SS: Urias (400) Sogard (200) Arcia (100) LF: Yelich (590) Braun (135) CF: Cain (550), Gamel (200) RF: Garcia (450) Braun (200) Gamel (75) DH: Braun (40) That would put our position players in a nice safe range of PA to stay fresh and healthy throughout the year. Yelich (590) Cain (550) Hiura (550) Braun (475) Garcia (450) Narvaez (450) Smoak (450) Sogard (450) Urias (400) Holt (400) Gyorko (300) Gamel (275) Pina (250) Arcia (100)
  13. I see this more likely as Urias is going to start the year on IL/AAA til he's fully healthy and We'll see Holt/Gyorko at 3B and Sogard/Arcia at SS. Allowing Urias to get completely healed and not have to find his way back to 100% on a MLB roster will be huge for his development.
  14. Has anyone done the bobble package for them? Do they hold bobbles for you if you can't make a game?
  15. We just paid Thames 6m for 350 pa last season, I could see the extra 1-2m for another 50-100 PA.
  16. Based on 700 PA per position: LF - Garcia (350), Braun (250), Pederson (100) CF - Cain (500), Pederson (200) RF - Yelich (600), Garcia (100) 1B - Smoak (400), Braun (200), Pederson (100) Yelich - 600 Cain - 500 Braun - 450 Garcia - 450 Smoak - 400 Pederson - 400 Thats an easy way to project Pederson into our roster structure. He replaces Gamel and lightens the load on Cain/Braun to keep them fresh throughout the year and covers us for the inevitable injury. Stripling seems like the perfect Counsell pitcher. Stripling is basically what we hope Houser will become. Between Houser/Stripling you have 30-40 above average starts and another 40-50 solid BP appearances.
  17. Pretty specific question Snapper, but I'm getting pretty close to taking the plunge into the Sunday+ 20 game pack. Gets me all of the SGA Bobbles plus another 11 games. Now on to my question. If I exchange a game from my pack to a theme night, would I be able to purchase the solo voucher? Or does the voucher program only work if the game was originally in my 20 pack?
  18. You could also join one of the many facebook pages specifically devoted to bobbles and sga items... For example: https://www.facebook.com/groups/907374242654594/ Thanks for the heads up. Navigating craigslist and Marketplace is a nightmare at times. Fairly new to the bobblehead game but I've accumulated a nice little collection (60ish) through thrift stores, secondary, and giveaways.
  19. At this point it's crazy to try and get every bobble without paying on the secondary market, or having a bobble partner to share the load.
  20. Projections are for the 10 players with the most expected ABs
  21. NL Central SteamerOPS projection and 3yOPS
  22. Our 3B position (including 398 PA from Moose) slashed 209/288/681 last year. I feel pretty confident that we can get better production than that from a Gyorko/Sogard platoon.
  23. Our 3B position (including 398 PA from Moose) slashed 209/288/681 last year. I feel pretty confident that we can get better production than that from a Gyorko/Sogard platoon.
  24. Hader for Austin Riley, Kyle Muller/Bryse Wilson, and Patrick Weigel would interest me. Riley locks down the 3B for the next 6 years. Muller and Wilson are both mid-rotation profile pitchers that can add to our depth this year between AAA/MLB and could take a rotation spot in 2021. Weigel is a wild card who's stuff has played up well as a RP in the minors and could impact our BP as soon as this year. Can touch upper 90's with both a slider and changeup. Brewers also drafted him in 2014.
  25. Right about where I have it, but FYI the new minimum salary for MLB is 555k not 500k. My table has it at $100.5 with minimums rounded up to 560k.
