  1. Go crew! These our fun times.
  2. 2008 was insane. I was at all those walk offs the last week, the crowd was just electric. Still get emotional when I listen to the Uke calls from those games on youtube. I know that's sad but it's true. And being at the first home playoff game since 82 was magical. Crowd on their feet every time Dave Bush had 2 strikes on a hitter.
  3. I'm loving Vue right now and no cable but...my wife is having a hard time finding her favorite channels/shows on it. Lifetime Movies, Hallmark Channel that kind of stuff. Any of the streaming services have these channels? I don't even think Vue has CBS in Oshkosh. Our bedroom does not have a smart tv, only a ps4 hooked up to it maybe one of those roku/chrome/fire sticks have these apps built in or available for purchase? She wants to cave and just get cable but I hate how every year your bill just goes up and up...then you switch to the other cable for a year or two and do the same thing again and again. Can't stand that. I like the no contracts aspect and really want her to as well thanks for the help.
  4. Downloaded the FoxSportsGo app downstairs on my Sony smart TV and yes, I'm watching the Brewers replay right now! Still would be nice to have it all in one interface in the PS Vue, but I'll deal with it for now. Wow PS Vue has local channels in Milwaukee? That's awesome, really wish the Green Bay stations would have that...unless I haven't found them yet or it's not working properly. I might have to do a support chat with Playstation and find out.
  5. Just got Playstation Vue, Core package. It says I get "Fox Sports Networks" channel...I was assuming that was Fox Sports Wisconsin but it is still the generic one which is just Poker all the time...not good. Anyone know how I can get Brewers games? I know you can through the Fox Sports Go app but I was hoping to do it all through the Vue. I live in Oshkosh and it's putting me in the North East Region I wonder if I have to be closer to Milwaukee to get FS WI? Anyone else have any luck? Looks like scrolling up others have this issue but I was hoping it was fixed by now. What about Packers games in the fall? Will I have to get an antenna to get the local Fox station?
  6. Game 5 against Dbacks. Best sports game I have ever attended. Game 3 2008 against Phillies. Miller Park was just ROCKIN, playoffs back in Milwaukee. Jenks on fire in '01 against the Expos. (Miller Park snowglobe day + Jamey Wright 2 hitter.)
  7. Josie is on a vacation far away.
  8. First couple Sausage Races were great. You ran inside Miller Park a few hours before an afternoon game. Sometimes a few coaches and players were outside in the dugout watching, Uke gave the prerace speech. Then after the race you went back to your car and tailgated for a few hours and went to the afternoon game. Then in the 3rd year they changed it to race in morning, free ticket for the game that night. So you had to drive back to your house after the race, then drive back for the game that night. Sort of killed the tailgating aspect. Now I think in recent years you get a voucher to a game that you pick at a later date. Do you even go in the stadium anymore? Maybe I'll do it again this year. I still have sour grapes over missing a cool a trophy back in college by a few seconds. They are little Sausage Race dolls pretty cool and original compared to the standard race medals at most places.
  9. I'll be doing this. Half Marathon is a good race distance. So does this replace the Sausage race 5k? This should be a nice tuneup for the Lakefront Marathon a few weeks later.
  10. I'm going to Iron Maiden. HUGE fan. It's rare they are playing so many US dates this summer, usually they are all over the world and only play a few major US cities. I may also check out the Scorpions. I think they are on their "farewell tour".
  11. Anyone know where the State Fair fried food items are located? I tried to find them opening day but had no luck.
  12. Me and the girlfriend are heading to KC this June for a game or two. Anyone ever been to Kaufman Stadium before? I hear it's really nice, I'm looking forward to checking it out. We were thinking about camping somewhat close to Kansas City? Any cool parks around or is it just all plains? Also I'd love to eat some KC BBQ, what are the best places to eat? Looking forward to scratching another ballpark off the Brewers Road Trip list.
  13. I really like the yellow on the official jerseys. They look good with the home white pants and differ from the blue of the road alternates. What I don't like is the cheap knockoff jerseys made in yellow. They look completely different than the actual color used in the official jerseys.
  14. This. It will be a veteran we have yet to sign that Roenicke will love and everyone here will hate because he will be taking playing away from a prospect or younger player with more upside.
  15. Okay low to no sugar, low to no carbs I got it. Can you guys recommend some foods that are quick and easy to prepare that are low in carbs and sugar? What do you guys eat just a lot of fruit, veggies, and lean meat? Also some name brand snacks and stuff would be helpful too. Thanks I'm going to try and eat better this winter.
  16. I think there's going to be a lot of Brewers fans there. I know during the regular season there was. Should be pretty awesome.
  17. Anyone know where there is video footage of Prince on the dugout, or the Uecker post game interviews? I can't find them anywhere.
  18. That sounds like a pretty mean lineup. I like it.
  19. Those late 80's road grays are my favorite Brewers uniform. I wish they sold those in the store, they are pretty rare. Only way to get one right now is either a Sheffield jersey, or a M&N Robin Yount which are hundreds of dollars unless you wear a XXXXL size jersey. As for the new jerseys I like them! They go good with the white pants and blue hats. I wasn't a fan of that color during the 2002 Allstar game but it has warmed up to me.
  20. I find the retro jerseys look very similar to the real ones. But the current style jerseys look wrong to me, you can spot the fakes pretty easily. I have seen many at the ballpark that have the gold piping almost being a yellow color, fonts for names and numbers wrong. I'm a stickler uniform snob though so maybe it's just me http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  21. Did anyone notice after each of Casey's homers he looked into the stands and sort of nodded before he came back into the dugout? I wonder if this Clayton kid was sitting close and he was sort of saying thanks. At first I thought maybe it was Casey's kids sitting there. Good story!
  22. Do you have to be a hardcore seat holder to get the invite to these? Like full or half season ticket plans?
  23. This guy always reminded me of Ray King.
  24. I was at that game at County Stadium. A guy on our softball team in 8th grade was a big Yankee fair weather fan and it was fun seeing him get lit up. Some good names in the article. Ah the 'crew of my childhood. Vina, Cirillo, Matheny, Nilsson.
