  1. Could throw big game Billy Hall in there as well. Robin.
  2. I am. Let's see what this team can do when healthy, and we call up some of the younger guys to help others struggling.
  3. Never been there but give us a report! I always love going to other ballparks and seeing the Brewers. Marlins always play us tough and are sneaky good this year.
  4. Nice start from Sproat. Getting 5-6 innings from our starters more would help the pen out.
  5. Wow Jones and Matos. Can't be worse than what we have been doing I guess. Trying to stay positive. It's early.
  6. The official website in the uniform description says "Sconnie" as well which made me cringe. The colors look a little better than the leak, only thing I like are the barrel man and bobber logos. Those are fun but the script looks very generic and Brush Script to me, I know they were going for the supper club vibe and the og Brewers script from the 30s but we have so many awesome fonts to use that are more Brewers than these will ever be.
  7. Just wait till our 2-3 stretches later this year where we play like 20 games in a row without an off day...at some point going to need some starters to start going deeper, or piggy back. Or just have Ashby pitch every game like we have :)
  8. It's nice seeing his name become more of a household name, get a little more respect. You like to see that with any of our guys. And he's backing it up too with great D and offense. I just get sick of the comments and posts saying "resign him now! Or he will be gone this season traded away" when they don't realize we have him through the 2029 season under team control, along with most of our current core. These guys will be with us a long time still...then we trade them and reload...and keep winning. Rinse and Repeat. And keep doing that and one of these years we'll get lucky and hopefully win it all.
  9. Just saw the Braves new City Connects. That's how you do it. I like the teams that take the team's history and put a modern spin on it. They look really good and not goofy. Also not sure how I missed this but the Tigers new two alternates are AMAZING. Navy and Orange alts now and they are a modern update to 80s/90s version of their uniform. Much more color for a team that didn't really have any alternate uniforms. Very tasteful.
  10. Really impressed with a 5-1 start, facing a bunch of lefties without Chourio and Vaughn in the lineup as well. Key players down the stretch for us last year and in the playoffs, as well as without Freddy, Collins too. All major guys from last years team. I trust the coaching staff and front office in place to get it done and keep this team competitive man it's been fun to watch. I was complaining to my Wife in bed last night (putting her to sleep) with people online complaining about this team and the owner. How? Were they not alive 1994-2006? Do they not remember? That was my childhood and Brewers I grew up watching and it was dark, bleak, bad. We are witnessing before our eyes the best era of Brewers baseball EVER year after year. Are you not entertained? I am.
  11. So far no issues with the mlb app streaming on my phone, ipad, and Roku TV at home or while on vacation. So far I like the ads much better too, it's not the same local 2-3 ads every commercial break like the last 5 years or so. I also like the option to pick tv broadcast or radio announcers.
  12. No. I don't think we are lucky. If we were, we'd have at least one World Series to our name.
  13. As long as he's healthy going into the playoffs, I don't care how many starts he has during the regular season.
  14. Mitchell stays healthy and finally puts a good season together. Ortiz does better and isn't the punching bag anymore like last year...
  15. But is he in the best shape of his life?
  16. This guy is going to be Daz Cameron on this year's team. That player you go a few years later "wait that guy was a Brewer?" Or the dude with the really bleached dreads? See I forgot his name already.
  17. Maybe the Hoskins signing from a few years back scared the Brewers away from Suarez. We tried to sign a power bat and spend money and it didn't work out. Don't want to risk that again? But agreed it looks like a deal we could of made.
  18. Cordero trade is another good one. Lots of meh players back. Off the top of my head we got stars such as Kevin Mench, Lance Nix, and 1-2 pitchers maybe I forget. Rick Helling?
  19. Looks like he just signed with the Phils.
  20. That was one of the good ones yep. Got Cappy from that.
  21. When it's one star for like 4-5 guys it reminds me of the old Brewers trades from the late 90's and early 2000's for Jenks, Burnitz, Cirillo, Vaughn. Rarely do you hit on all the players, if any.
  22. I feel like reading this thread we have the entire A's scouting staff from Moneyball in here complaining about how tall people are. Who cares? As long as they get on base. How many "great size" can't miss prospects have fizzled out over the years for us? Maybe we should of traded for Kevin Barker and Brad Nelson. How tall was Prince? 5'8"? He turned out pretty good. I'm gonna sit back and trust the 2 time Front Office of the Year to do their job on this and hopefully it works out for us for long term.
  23. My Wife lived in Chicago for a while and has Bear fan friends, so she was invested in the game Sunday. Kept saying things like how tough of a loss it was for them, after that last TD pass to tie was so uplifting... I'm like been there and done that already in 2016 with Rodgers to Janis (an even more insane throw and catch) and we lost in OT very quickly. :)
