    They had the perfect replacement, Jim Powell. When uke finally hangs it up, I say give Jim however much money it takes to bring him back. Him and Bob were great to listen to!

    I like Uke's random stories and mess ups. It's what keeps me laughing and entertained while listening to the games at work. I also enjoy his 10 minute Usinger's ads. You can always tell when he's about to launch into one. For some reason when he reads all the sponsors at the beginning and end I enjoy that as well. Hardware Hank, Kapco, MENARDS, West Bend....

    He dosn't seem to be spotting his fastballs on the corners like he was last season and getting ahead of hitters right away. The umps aren't giving it to him on the close ones on the corner or he misses. And the lack of changeups is baffling me as well, but I think it all comes down to him pumping that first pitch strike on the low corner first pitch and getting ahead in the count. Set that changeup up. And the Brewers need to take that sign down.

    Thats interesting, that could be. Reminds me of Apollo 13 when they are in the simulator and everything is going to hell. Just running those poor scoreboard techs into the ground with master cautions and red lights flashing everywhere.

    Some "great" names popping up in this thread I love it! This guy appeared in my MLB The Show game last night pitching in AA in my 3rd season of Road to the Show mode. Greg Aquino. Was glad when he was gone.

    Chad Moeller or Rubin Quevedo. He was toppin out around 80mph his last few starts. Also Navarro's 2nd stint with the Brewers I was at his last start before he was dumped. I think it was against the Mets and Nomo owned us and Jaime got shelled.

    I was also hoping for an updated road jersey with "milwaukee" text. It's already an official brewers logo, its on the bottom of their website, just put it on the jerseys! Also that patch is pretty bad. How does that patch celebrate 40 years of brewers baseball history in Milwaukee? It doesn't. That 1/4 of a barrel in the corner of the logo just looks odd and thrown in at the last minute. I am also very excited to see they will be wearing the uniforms from the late 90's. I used to think those were so cool growing up, even though they are pretty ugly http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

    Does anyone know where I could find the Spring Training video of Yost (probably before the 06 season?) where he is making the speech about "We got the kinda guys we need, the gamers, the hard workers...."? I have been trying to find that for a while. It was an awesome speech at the time and got me pretty pumped up for the season.

    Here is a little mockup on how I would like the brewers road alternate to be. I think Atlanta's road alternate is best in baseball, mine is inspired by that.

    I listen in from 1150 in the Fox Valley, and their are a few that I can't stand. 1) Al Huss auto. The way this guy talks drives me crazy. Total yooper. "I'll treat your chhar like its my mhoooooms."- besides thats kinda creepy. 2) Marys in the Morning Marys in the evening Marys at Supper Time! - the guy they got to do the radio spots for this commercial says his R's like W's. "Mawy's homestywle cooking". 3) That "20 mil" wisconsin lottery. I turn off my radio when I hear that. ------- Okay now have to talk about my favorite. Its during the game, when Uke tries to work in his 10 minute long Usingers spot into the broadcast. I love this, each day its different. Throw some crispy kraut on there or some silver creek chipotle mustard! Try em all! Mmmm Mmm!

    anyone excited to see Coheed and Cambria? I think they are playin the Miller Oasis on July 2nd. They put on a great show. Saw them at the rave last spring and they jammed out on Final Cut for about 20 minutes.

    I fancy a nacho with meat, with some home made salsa and guacamole on top with loads of cheddar cheese. Eating that while watching the Brewers is tough to beat.
