Pre- and post-game activites at AT&T Park in San Fran
SeriesFinale replied to BuckyBrewer61's topic in Off-Topic Forum
Sorry I missed this--I've been lurking these days but staying mostly in the Game and ML threads. Hope you found 21st Amendment or Red's Java House. -
What kind of food and music do you like? Where is your hotel?
-
They're still obsessed with the "bowling pin celebration" out here.
-
Heh, what on Earth would give you that impression?
-
Me all over, although I have enough pangs for Escobar and Jeffress that I'd be (somewhat) OK with it falling through.

Brewers sign C Wil Nieves to a non-guaranteed $775K deal
SeriesFinale replied to trwi7's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
I can't be the only Extra Innings-watcher fan here who initially read about this and first thought of this commercial that MASN constantly aired when the Crew played the Nats: The content of which, of course, doesn't make me feel any better about this signing. If it's about "competition," why even bother to allocate the league minimum at this juncture? -
I haven't posted on bf.net in a long while (I always thought I was a much better reader than poster here anyway) but I logged onto here to say: I just cut myself off from Facebook for the evening.

I didn't really think any of the hirings would be homeruns or disasters but I am a little underwhelmed all the same. Wait and see, I guess.

Ken Macha won't be back - option for 2011 not picked up
SeriesFinale replied to Rightomac13's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
I really kinda liked Macha's calm, grandfatherly demeanor, which is the same reason why he wasn't a good fit for this team. -
"So long! Evvvrrrreeeebodddy."

Prince's last AB as a Brewer? Downer.
-
Weird to say since I haven't been following them much the last few months, but I'm disappointed I'm not getting the Brewers' feed on the last day today...
-
Unfortunately I didn't get out of the sports bar I watch NFL Sunday Ticket at before I witnessed that Guillen GS I know the Brewers aren't going anywhere but the raucous chants and cheers were still a bit hard to be around. Shame it overshadowed that awesome Braun catch.
-
Yeah, pretty bad. Still, kinda love the irony of the Brewers out-pitching the Giants the last two days.
-
Wow Fantastic pitching the last two nights. Well done, Crew. I'd like to accept credit for these wins: I go and I guarantee they lose both by near double-digits. I want to see the Giants in the playoffs, but it's awesome seeing them play spoilers here.

And all the histrionics afterwards
-
This Giants team has some personality I have to say, I listened to "Barry Zito's Unicorn Hour" on KNBR this afternoon while running some errands, and Brian Wilson's interviews are always crackers. Hell, practically all Sandoval offers for them this year IS personality (I probably just jonxed him to hit the game-winner tonight).
-
They almost look fake
-
Need to cash in some of these baserunners I don't care if it's the Giants' offense
-
Nice, Lucroy. Glad we got something out of that, seems like we should've had two before that and it seemed like we were getting none C'mon, Yo, another jack at AT&T!!!
-
Love seeing the Cerveceros unis on the road Hate that 11 pitch inning though
-
Lincecum and Gallardo have had really similar years Feels like we've always played well against "Timmy"
-
Great game by Wolf Storyline in the Giants' studio was that Wolf's zone was much larger than Bumgarner's but their play-by-play guys gave credit where it was due
-
Well done, Wolf Man
-
I was really hoping for a M-M-M-ota's In moment tonight Might be time to get Wolf out of there
