  1. Pollyanna optimism doesn’t make the team any better either Being realistic isn’t necessarily negative I love the Brewers & want them to win Losing two home games & going on the road for three games in a seven game series leaves me little room for optimism
  2. This is only possible if someone trips the breaker to the AC unit in their locker room
  3. I can’t imagine that the most optimistic people in this forum truly believe that Milwaukee will suddenly come to life in LA & make this a competitive series This is has been an incredible season … it will soon come to an end against a better team that is playing their best baseball of the season while we are limping to the finish line Thank God we had enough left in the tank to knock off the Cubs & keep them quiet this offseason
  4. I’m pretty sure a seven game series is not anything to worry over
  5. Murphy & Yelich have been terrible in this series
  6. Maybe it’s just me, but I no longer see that as doable Would be thrilled … but I’ve lost all confidence in this group
  7. He needs a few more days to fully recover from smoking your Cubs & sending those losers home early
  8. I surely hope we don’t get swept in four games putting a damper on what has been a remarkable season I fear we may have missed our best chance to “steal” a game last night This is no longer enjoyable to watch
  9. Murphy has lost his mind pitching Uribe tonight What a terrible decision
  10. Thanks for having a different opinion than me 🙌
  11. There is simply no explanation he could give that would justify using Uribe here
  12. Murph heard you & let Peralta pitch too long Now he’s warming up Uribe who desperately needs a day or two off Dodgers may blow this one open soon
  13. Peralta is only good for five innings I hope they trade him next week or as soon as trades are permitted Disappointing Freddy strikes once again Murphy left him in too long Put Frelick in RF & play Perkins in CF
  14. Tonight is a must win or the series is over … it’s that simple to me
  15. Maybe mature rather than good should be the goal
  16. Since you are suspected to be a Cubs fan, the penalty should be 15 years for you 😉
  17. I want to win a World Series championship as much as anyone … but I’m not stressing over losing to the Dodgers because they have far better, more experienced players. While I’m not “satisfied” with the best record in baseball or a division title, winning the series over the Cubs made this a successful season for me. Anything more will be icing on a delicious cake.
  18. As I’ve posted on several occasions … Once the season ends, I look forward to trading Freddy for a few quality prospects He’s been a good player, great personality, loyal teammate … but I don’t trust him - especially in big games like this one
  19. Not an ace … a good pitcher I hate that we are in a must win game with Freddy on the mound
  20. This is my perspective too That said - like everyone else posting in this game thread - I want to see the Brewers win a World Series ASAP
  21. And Durbin for motioning Contreras to come touch 3rd
