  1. Scorched by Turang for a monster HR 🙌💪👏⚾️
  2. I like the lineup offensively - a little nervous about outfield defense in such a cavernous park
  3. I love a well-written sentence & both of those sentences qualify!
  4. Hey SveumRules - Thanks as always for this post! And … What is your day job? Does it involve math? Is your avatar in a tux your HS senior pic?
  5. I stopped watching right after the error to start the bottom of the 9th inning I abhor bad defense & poor baseball I checked the score to see that we are going to extra innings I’m out for tonight - will look at the score later I may need a 10-day fan IL stint What a frustrating week with poor play & injuries
  6. Surely glad tonight’s rally didn’t come down to Yeli. He is in one of his patented rollover slumps. Hopefully it passes quickly because no doubt - like Counsell- Murphy won’t sit him for a game or two.
  7. He somehow rebounded well in the fourth & fifth innings. - I believe 11 pitches in each inning. Nice way to bounce back after another poor start.
  8. This week has not been our best baseball. That 1-0 loss stings even more now.
  9. I believe he may turn out well … eventually … a year or two into the future
  10. Sproat is not yet a big league starting pitcher. I believe he would already be in Nashville if we had healthy 40-man options to take his place. I had hoped that this 12 game stretch against sub .500 teams would allow us to pad our lead. It looks like we are headed for a tough stretch of injury-related losses.
  11. I’d be in favor of that trade … & we could throw in Rengifo too
  12. Does anyone? Are you suggesting we send Detroit Perkins & Ortiz?
  13. And while we b&m about Sproat being a disappointment, I am equally frustrated that Woodruff can’t stay healthy again. I’m ready for him to pitch. All the delays to “work on arm slot” … hooey - if you’re well enough to tweak things, get on the mound & pitch for the team that is paying you $22M this season.
  14. I certainly don’t want us to trade three young top prospects for a three month (including playoffs) pitcher. We lose years of potential assets. Certainly no guarantee Skubal gets us past the Dodgers this year. So, I’m unapologetically against such a trade.
  15. I simply can’t watch Sproat pitch. I push “pause” when he starts an inning, wait a few minutes, then I hit “jump to live” on my Apple TV remote. I get less frustrated that way.
  16. Sproat is so disappointing. Unfortunately, everyone who could take his spot is injured or equally mediocre.
