    Wilson is certainly not sharp tonight He’s one of my least favorite players on the 2024 team That said - he has pitched well on a few occasions … just not someone I value or enjoy watching pitch

    Both today & the 2024 season in general During the first inning today, Freddy once again had a high pitch count including a lead off homer, hit by Bellinger, & a walk … vs the rest of the game completely dominant His season overall has been up & down … I never know what to expect from game to game - high pitch, mediocre Freddy or lights out Freddy Rea is not nearly as talented as Freddy but is far more consistent from game to game - almost always competitive & often produces a quality start You don’t have to agree with me - I’m fine if you are happy with him each game - I have high expectations for him that often go unmet As I’ve posted earlier … towards the end of the IGT … he certainly turned things around after a shaky first inning I’m thrilled he did so & loved spanking the Cubs & winning the series I will likely be nervous again next time he pitches in LA later this week based on his inconsistency thus far in 2024 … who knows what to expect Burnes & Woody seemed to be far more consistent the last few years … Freddy was great today but has been up & down most of the year

    You may want to pay closer attention I do not consider him an ace I have never & will never referred to him as an ace Many others have done so - he is most certainly not an ace Peralta is a great #3 starter who occasionally (like today) is extremely good

    I believe you are smarter than that - Jekyll & Hyde to me refers to his inconsistency from start to start he recovered nicely today after another poor first inning Happy to entertain you

    He’s certainly fun to watch & fits the scrappy Brewers player profile My favorite is Ortiz - but I love Turang as well Turang’s improvement over 2023 is one of the most dramatic one year jumps I can recall

    Now Freddy looks un-hittable … like the best pitcher in baseball … totally dominating the Cubbies I prefer this version of Peralta over the first inning version… nice turnaround Hope he goes 8 innings today & allows the bullpen to rest
