    It seems like the Brewers - over the last few years - waste more good pitching performances than most teams ... lots of 1-0 & 2-1 type losses I was hoping that we might actually get a homer & win a close game I know there are two innings left, but I have no reason to believe we will score today

    Bauers defense has been exceptional ... & he has a couple of timely HRs ... but I prefer the young guys - specifically Tyler Black

    Day games are usually more difficult for me to watch, but I'm on vacation - at the beach - this week. I get to watch a couple of Biloxi Shuckers games early next week! I hope Wilken is activated, but it is unlikely. I'm anxious (excited) to see Boeve play too.

    Who hates Counsell? I loved him as our manager. I do “hate” that he chose to go to Chicago. I like him as a person & player & as (our) manager. I don’t like that he & Murph are buddies.

    100% agree on Chourio over Bauers & Ortiz over Dunn I don’t like the lineup today I wonder if Weeks or Murphy is responsible?

    I believe Craig Counsell became manager of the Brewers 9 years ago tomorrow Here’s hoping we sweep the Cubbies or at least win the series I still don’t like our current manager Murphy & former manager Counsell being chummy

    I’ve been surprised at his poor defense too. He simply missed a catchable line drive in the Yankees series - appeared to come in too far & it sailed past him … looked really bad on TV. I understand that he’s super talented but extremely young & inexperienced. Hopefully, he will get hot with the bat soon - he appears to be lacking confidence recently. Long-term, I believe he will be a very good player. It makes sense that 2024 was going to be a learning year - but overall, I’ve been a little underwhelmed … probably because of all the fanfare before he arrived. You can tell he never played in AAA.

    I’ll be curious to see what roster changes take place before tomorrow’s game against Tampa Bay. I assume Junk returns to Nashville since he pitched back to back days. Is it time to DFA Viera? Should we send Chourio & Dunn & Uribe to AAA? What other players could be exchanged with fresh arms & potential bats? Is it time to call up Black & Hicklen? Are there any “surprise” injuries that would allow an IL visit for a pitcher & the return of Koenig? It would be wise to shake things up a bit.
