    What a terrible home playoff opener No way this team wins the next two games What a disappointing showing by the Brewers And I will never understand Winker being on the roster I hope we sell (trade away a few players) & rebuild this offseason I’d much rather watch the younger players than see a patchwork team fall apart in the first round of the playoffs No one should be surprised

    I didn’t like the decision I still disagree with the decision Now he is going to be limited tomorrow when the season is on the line He pitched terribly tonight to make it all a moot point

    Today has been a long & difficult work day - I was away from social media & the internet until just now I simply cannot believe that we’ve lost Woodruff - not only for the playoffs but likely for much or all of next year too He is my favorite current Brewer - our best starter & such a good team player Like so many on this forum, I’m heartbroken for Woody & for the Brewers + the fans I was hoping we might surprise in the playoffs & make a push for the World Series Not sure what to feel or think right now I am in disbelief - shocked - numb

    He is certainly a very talented young pitcher I hope he thrives in every outing & for years to come

    He’s not pitched well … he’s been wild … his last two outings I certainly like his future - Hader & Turnbow come to mind … remarkable talent but can be wild at times

    Again … He’s not ready for postseason baseball We may be an arm or two short unless Miley & Houser & possibly Rea can move to the bullpen for the playoffs

    I’d love Chafin to toss about 100 pitches in relief tonight to make sure that he is left off the playoff roster

    Lauer’s collapse this year is reminiscent of Scotty Karl’s final season after he left the Brewers … he had been a consistent starter for about five seasons & suddenly lost his magic

    Hope they walk it off for Boushley I didn’t like the decision to let him pitch the 9th, but I trust Counsell I’m sure the Marlins are unhappy - as they should be

    Would love to see Frelick get back on track this weekend before the playoffs start on Tuesday. He will be needed if our offense is to complement the pitching & defense.
