    Immediately expendable - Tapia, Winker & Mejia TBD (hopefully soon) - Tellez, Urius, & Hiura We need to add some new pieces to what is an overall solid team Tyrone Taylor’s bat & defense should help us once he is back on the big league roster which should be after the break It will be interesting to see what happens with these other players A bat (ideally one who can cover 1B) & a bullpen arm coupled with the return of a few players from the IL may be enough to win the dreadful NL Central

    I’m pretty sure we don’t want to get into a “shoot out” with the Reds & their dynamic offense We need to shut them down & someone eek out a win today

    Rowdy is another low bar Votto - even at his age - is superior to Miller & Tellez At least to the eye test that I prefer over analytical data

    You must have missed my thread where I owned my over- reaction to Yelich. I acknowledged that I was wrong. I’ve also posted MANY times recently on his success & expressed excitement over his All-Star worthy season to date.

    His play at 1B doesn’t pass the eye test I like him a ton as a hometown player His bat has been a positive on a team struggling most of the season offensively
