  1. He is far more exciting than what I’ve seen of Chourio What an incredible talent He is already one of the most exciting players in baseball
  2. Cincinnati is currently a better overall team than Milwaukee That despite our pitching being much stronger
  3. This game feels far too similar to the recent heartbreak loss games against Pittsburgh & Chicago (twice) Too many opportunities to score with no runs produced I hope that doesn’t cost us a winnable game today
  4. Immediately expendable - Tapia, Winker & Mejia TBD (hopefully soon) - Tellez, Urius, & Hiura We need to add some new pieces to what is an overall solid team Tyrone Taylor’s bat & defense should help us once he is back on the big league roster which should be after the break It will be interesting to see what happens with these other players A bat (ideally one who can cover 1B) & a bullpen arm coupled with the return of a few players from the IL may be enough to win the dreadful NL Central
  5. Votto - yes - pretty athletic for a 40-year old player
  6. Neither Miller nor Tellez could have made the play Votto just made to record the out at 1B
  7. Okay - you win You are always right I’m clueless Sorry I had an opinion you disagree with
  8. I’m pretty sure we don’t want to get into a “shoot out” with the Reds & their dynamic offense We need to shut them down & someone eek out a win today
  9. Rowdy is another low bar Votto - even at his age - is superior to Miller & Tellez At least to the eye test that I prefer over analytical data
  10. You must have missed my thread where I owned my over- reaction to Yelich. I acknowledged that I was wrong. I’ve also posted MANY times recently on his success & expressed excitement over his All-Star worthy season to date.
  11. His play at 1B doesn’t pass the eye test I like him a ton as a hometown player His bat has been a positive on a team struggling most of the season offensively
  12. I didn’t get my way - the articles are still there & remain a nuisance
  13. You didn’t address the primary point in my post Miller should have come off the bag to catch the ball
  14. Maybe the key is to not throw an average fastball to Brewer Killer Votto over the middle of the plate with a couple runners on base
  15. I love Turang & can’t wait to see him develop as he gets more major league at bats
  16. Have you ever argued with a tree? I’ve never interacted with anyone as contrary as you You seem to want to contradict or debate every post You - my friend - are exhausting
  17. Yes - our pitching is better than Cincinnati’s & their hitting is worlds better than ours
  18. That is part of the problem He may be our best but he is not a good first baseman He should have come off the bag to catch the ball
  19. You can’t give this team extra base runners We have so little margin for error with our patchwork pitching staff
  20. A decent first baseman comes off the bag & saves the extra base
