  1. He looks like Hader to me … wild & prone to walks & homers
  2. I hope there are no more Gatorade showers when he is gone I won’t miss his postgame shenanigans or his spotty defense & cold / hot streaks He’s been a good player for us but I like our next generation of SS / middle infielders
  3. I’m so glad we got Ortiz in the Burnes trade
  4. Why does my forum connection always time out?
  5. The throw was in the dirt & the scoop was even worse … both are at fault
  6. I surely hope Peralta regains his magic & becomes a contributor to this overachieving group of starters. He’s been a major disappointment for much of the 2024 season. We will certainly need his “A game” to compete in October. The talent is there … the results have been subpar thus far.
  7. He’s terrible … the new Angel Hernandez
  8. That’s pretty cool! I went to the same high school as Eric Brown, Jr … 40 years before him. He was a better baseball player than me. 😉 Hopefully, he starts hitting in Biloxi & fulfills his first round draft status as a future Brewers middle infielder.
  9. Occasionally, he looks like a 20-year old playing in the majors
  10. That specific call still bothers me to this day … & I like Judge EXCEPT for that blatant “cheat” play
  11. I would (only) be interested in his return if he gets no action on a long-term deal from other teams (aka - last season’s Boras clients) & is willing to play on a one-year $25M contract
  12. The top AL teams are bunched together too Baltimore has the best record in MLB at 70-48 … Milwaukee is 5th at 67-49 … that is tight at the top
  13. There it is … Hoby is “injured” … I hope he gets right & provides help at some point in the future, but he was the obvious choice to be put on the IL or DFA’d
  14. Disappointing … I spend equal amounts of energy rooting FOR Milwaukee & AGAINST the Cards & Cubs
  15. When you consider draft status & pedigree, Myers has been quite the find for the Brewers this year. Hard to imagine Myers scuffling in the minors a few years ago with a 1-15 W/L record. No one would argue that Skenes future is not brighter - but at least for this year, the two are fairly close in production for their teams. Congrats once again to the Brewers scouting & development departments - another successful redemption project in the books. Here are current side-by-side comparisons between phenom Paul Skenes & journeyman Tobias Myers:
  16. Note my opening comment … “I may be in the minority here”
  17. I may be in the minority here but I don’t see it with Mis … he’s too wild … & seldom pitches five innings because he throws too many pitches I believe he’s a bullpen guy … in a few years
  18. That game was barely over two hours
  19. Could easily have been three walks instead of three strikeouts Great game
  20. All of those were great finds … my initial post was highlighting the best of 2024 … Koenig should be included
  21. Milner was fun for a few years … not this year I wish him well, but I hope he is DFA’d soon when a few of the guys on the IL & on rehab are added to the MLB roster for the home stretch
