    Excerpt from “Brewers Beat” … The Brewers have considered installing artificial turf at American Family Field for a couple of years, but they haven’t moved forward with that plan yet. One of the benefits, beyond ending the long battle associated with getting grass to grow in a domed stadium, would be expanding the number of events when the Brewers are away. I HATE this idea - I hope this NEVER happens. Baseball should ALWAYS be played on GRASS!

    Yikes … Strez has been off recently … he may need some time in Nashville to get right - he definitely needs to be moved away from late innings relief in close games

    I love to live my life by principles I know better than to invest my time in activities, events, & relationships that constantly produce aggravation & frustration … with very little enjoyment In spite of that knowledge - I consistently watch this team … probably 150+ games per year … & I experience quite a bit of disappointment So … to all the counselors on the board - How do you stop loving a team after 50+ years?

    Milwaukee is depending on far too many AAA players to win ML games Singleton, Monasterio, Perkins … not gonna get it done at this level

    It appears we may very well get swept at home by one of baseball’s all-time worst teams Six outs to go & no signs of life Even if somehow we muster up a rally & pull this game out - what a joke of a roster we currently have in Milwaukee

    Only a few post on the IGTs these days & for whatever reason - anything other than “positive” comments gets push back & reminders to “get better perspective” - which is as frustrating to me as the Brewers mediocre play for the past two years

    From all I’ve read, it seems he will walk away after the season to focus on his son’s college baseball careers I certainly don’t think he’s the problem If he does walk away - I hope we go outside the current staff & hire all new coaches under a young inspirational & fiery new manager

    Sadly, I watch far too often … that has been quite painful the past couple of years … the offense is so mediocre & the team overall has been uninspiring

    I believe keeping this team in first place or near the top of the NL Central into June makes this one of Counsell’s all-time best efforts … he should be a candidate for Manager of the Year!

    All of your comments are welcome … except for the last one It is NEVER okay to tell anyone on the board how to feel or process their frustration with this team Milwaukee is not good … I’m a realist - that is not loss of perspective & I never suggested that they were as bad as the A’s record-wise I’m confident that the 2023 Brew Crew is no better than the 2022 Brew Crew that missed the playoffs And … against one of the worst teams in MLB history - they have played horrid baseball this weekend No corrections or advice needed

    What a dreadful two years of mediocre baseball ⚾️ I hope there are no trades to try to improve this team I would much rather trade away anyone with value & restock with top prospects for 2024 forward I love the Brewers - will always root for them - but this is horrid baseball for much too long The Orioles series was the exception … this is more the standard for a few years running Yes, I’m aware we had a significant number of injuries … but still

    This board has been a graveyard recently No one comments on game threads anymore Maybe I’m not the only one who sees this brand of baseball as unwatchable Yelich just made a base running mistake that rookies avoid We need to wake up & play focused baseball
