What a nosedive after a few good months Why is he still batting at the top of the lineup?
  2. edfunderburk
Are you capable of answering my questions or just making pithy comments with a keyboard?
  3. edfunderburk
I hope I’m wrong, but I believe it’s too little too late Nice HR though
  4. edfunderburk
    That is a long list

Freddy is a lost cause in Milwaukee I hope someone in the FO is brave enough to trade him in the offseason
  6. edfunderburk
Peralta continues to underperform in 2024 He’s not an ace & is miscast in such a role I certainly hope he doesn’t start Game 1 of our initial playoff series

I don’t believe making negative comments about Murphy is allowed
  8. edfunderburk
Be careful … Apparently it is not allowed to be critical of Murphy in this forum … I posted a few notes on his poor in game decisions & got push back

As a Brewers fan, I love that we had an exceptional week. I believe we have a good team & credit Murphy for leading the team well in spite of so many injuries- especially to the starting pitching staff. I also believe that what I wrote about him is true. In my opinion, he doesn’t make good in game managerial decisions. I’m fine if you disagree but posting stats from a good week doesn’t disprove the point I was attempting to make.

Are you suggesting that true Brewers fans only compliment every player & coach & front office staff member? Do you ever post when you are frustrated or disagree with a decision on the field? Remind me of the forum rules please. I was under the impression - maybe even misunderstood - that opinions can be shared without a problem . I don’t remember what you wrote that preceded my response but I believe you made it personal after I shared my perception of Murphy. I know several people who are brave via keyboard but would likely respond differently if they were face to face with someone.

How silly … What a waste of time to make such a nonsense comment

I’ve never been to the Cubs website - I despise all Chicago teams I’m a Brewers fan… but I’m not a “Homer” who only compliments the team
  13. edfunderburk
Murphy is great with nicknames, relationships, team chemistry & camaraderie … he’s not good with in game decisions - pitching changes, when to remove the starter, pinch hitting … too many gimmicky plays
  14. edfunderburk
Murphy is not a good in game manager …
  15. edfunderburk
Hoskins is a slow running, poor defensive 1B, who hits the occasional HR in crunch time … he should be our everyday DH
  16. edfunderburk
X3 … pop out on a bunt, misplay in LF, emotional reaction to a strikeout that led to interference
  17. edfunderburk
Chourio needs to be pulled from the game if Murphy wants to be consistent in his teaching the game. That was a costly blunder. He’s been on a tear, but today he’s played poorly.
  18. edfunderburk
We can’t win with poor defense & mediocre pitching
  19. edfunderburk
He looks like Hader to me … wild & prone to walks & homers
  20. edfunderburk
I hope there are no more Gatorade showers when he is gone I won’t miss his postgame shenanigans or his spotty defense & cold / hot streaks He’s been a good player for us but I like our next generation of SS / middle infielders
  21. edfunderburk
I’m so glad we got Ortiz in the Burnes trade
  22. edfunderburk
Why does my forum connection always time out?
  23. edfunderburk
The throw was in the dirt & the scoop was even worse … both are at fault
  24. edfunderburk
I surely hope Peralta regains his magic & becomes a contributor to this overachieving group of starters. He’s been a major disappointment for much of the 2024 season. We will certainly need his “A game” to compete in October. The talent is there … the results have been subpar thus far.
  25. edfunderburk
He’s terrible … the new Angel Hernandez
