  1. I believe his friendship with Counsell makes him safe all of this year regardless of his stats
  2. We don’t need both Milner & Suter I choose Milner I hope Suter moves into management soon when Cousins & Houser return
  3. He has struggled recently Hopefully he gets back on track tonight
  4. Here's an article on Brewers top pick Eric Brown Jr joining Carolina in Low-A from his hometown newspaper I actually played baseball at the same high school in the late 1970's https://shreveportbossierjournal.com/2022/08/08/former-parkway-star-eric-brown-jr-moves-quickly-to-low-a/
  5. I hope he goes to a different eye doctor than Joe Gray
  6. I hope he got some advice from Ryan Braun this weekend regarding hitting lefties
  7. I would love to see Turang promoted to fill what was Peterson’s super utility role Who would you propose the Brewers remove from the roster to make room for him? I posted a few weeks ago - at the time of his injury - that we would feel Peterson’s loss as he was a valuable bat in an ordinary lineup
  8. So, what is your explanation for his immediate & extreme drop off in every measurable statistical category?
  9. I wish MLW could have added Drury last week My frustration with San Diego wasn’t Soto & Bell (that was surprising) … not even Hader (we would have never re-signed him after next year) … but when they also got Drury - I was ticked He would have been a great bat & a utility infielder for the final 60 games
  10. I’m frustrated beyond words with this team, but I just had a thought that made me laugh How awesome it would be to rally just enough over the last few months to claim the sixth & final playoff spot over San Diego That would make me quite happy They sold their future by going all in with last week’s multiple trades It would be incredible for them to miss the playoffs I’m not sure Milwaukee could win any series in the postseason, but to knock San Diego out would be glorious
  11. This game was over when Brosseau threw the ball away to open the 10th inning
  12. This team has been icky for three months … except for one week following the All-Star break
  13. Even then, I suggested that this team was not that good Those watching closely know what I mean They we’re winning many of the games then that we are giving away now But at no point have we played well for more than a week all year
  14. I wish the Brewers slide had started later in August Packers preseason doesn’t begin until 8/12 I hope I can find something enjoyable to watch until then
  15. But according to stats somewhere, he is one of MLB’s top left fielders
  16. Yes … not all - but many … those who may agree with me are quieter than those who disagree I’m not a negative person - but I am a “truth-teller” & I believe this is a bad team Are there any true leaders on this roster?
  17. Is anyone actually surprised? I no longer expect us to win … I just hope we don’t lose It’s been several years since I felt that way about a Brewers team And Burnes started again today
  18. And the Brewers have a severe case right now - it looks terminal
  19. Why do those on this forum bark at me when I say the 2022 team is often “unwatchable” ????
  20. Defense has been an issue all year You can’t give runs to inferior opponents
