    I hope we add a few minor pieces & keep the majority of our Top 20 Prospects to position us for a strong next decade where we should have plenty of World Series opportunities. I also hope the new CBA levels the playing field some so we can compete with the larger market teams.

    I understand. Not sure we can acquire enough talent at the trade deadline to compete with the Dodgers. Maybe someone else will get lucky & knock them out for us.

    It would be epic if the small market Brewers sent Yelich to NYM with a partial pay down on his ugly salary to clear a roster spot for a young, dynamic bat. I’d love & celebrate that trade.

    Surely hope Megill can close this out. He won’t be available for either game tomorrow. I would have kept Patrick in to finish this one off.

    Yelich should not be batting at the top of the lineup. He & Murphy should be embarrassed. Outside of his one HR in Arizona (& it was mashed no doubt), he’s been in a horrible slump for three weeks. If he must play, drop him to the lower third of the order.
