I’m too happy to watch Mears pitch Im pausing the video & will check back in 7 ,minutes We have a two run lead & Murphy puts his favorite pitcher in the game Hopefully he goes three up three down & exits with the lead in tact

Can an injured player be traded? We need to pay Hoskins the courtesy of finding him a new home. Surely, he won’t automatically resume RH hitting first base duties once he returns healthy … right?

Falling behind 3-0 in the top of the first … against the team you are battling for first place … in a home game vs. your bitter rival … with a young phenom pitcher on a pitch & inning limit … is about as bad a start as you could imagine to such an important series

Misiorowski is best suited (for now at least) as a late inning bullpen arm - especially with an innings limit. He will hurt us more than help us down the stretch if he has another game like this one. Our bullpen will be blown up in game one of an important series. Seems like management could have lined up our pitching differently for such a big series.
