  1. I’m proud of Gasser. He’s pitched decently in a difficult environment. Hopefully he’ll get through six innings before he departs. Good effort thus far.
  2. My fear is all the hitters will start trying to crank HRs & all the pitchers will no longer trust their stuff when we leave town
  3. Is the new Las Vegas Stadium a dome? Can anything be done to make the park MLB quality? Will their field dimensions be similar to Coors Field?
  4. This isn’t baseball. It’s not fun or funny. It’s killing the pitchers stats. Harrison’s ERA almost doubled last night. That could cost him an All-Star bid & bonus. This was a bad idea. One game - maybe. Three games - horrible decision.
  5. Patrick has pitched the last two days. I doubt he’s available tonight. And Megill may not be able to pitch due to a minor injury.
  6. He may have to go five no matter the results … or at least 80 pitches since we have such a taxed bullpen
  7. Mitchell looked lost on that routine fly ball to CF. Gasser is. Fly ball pitcher. This could be entertaining.
  8. Nice start in this Little League Park. We may need 20 runs tonight with Gasser & Crow as our primary hurlers available. Let’s keep scoring.
  9. He appears to be a platoon bat against lefty starters these days. Apparently, his defensive limitations (1B or DH only) prevent him from playing every day.
  10. After watching last night’s game - I’m terrified. Wouldn’t it make sense to throw ground ball pitchers in an open air stadium in the desert with no humidity? Gasser may set a record for HRs allowed. What about Crow? Is he also a fly ball pitcher? Mercy,
  11. At least Coors made adjustments for the conditions by expanding the ballpark dimensions
  12. I’m glad we won … I’m glad I stayed up … I’m still a little bit angry - maybe at MLB for scheduling a series here
  13. That sounds dangerous. Did the outfielders wear helmets?
  14. What a sweet come from behind victory. I plan to watch the postgame show too. Why not … it’s already tomorrow.
  15. One more out! Please, Lord … I’m so tired … & just a tad irritated.
  16. That was a terrible call. He was safe. No evidence to change that call. Horrible umpiring decision from headquarters. Unacceptable in a game like this one.
  17. Sveum may be asleep (if he’s smart), but I wonder how many times the Brewers have scored 15 runs & lost … Hopefully, tonight will not be on that list
  18. I hope Murphy owns it in the presser … terrible bullpen usage
