  1. I appreciate your honest posts. I’m not a fan of being overly positive or negative. I align with what you’ve written here & earlier in this thread. I don’t consider myself to be an optimist or a pessimist … more so a realist. The Brewers have a great record. That said, they aren’t playing crisp, fundamentally sound baseball. They aren’t hitting the ball well or scoring enough runs recently. I've never considered this to be their year as much as I want that to be true. I do believe our future (the next 5-7 years) is bright … possibly our best stretch ever if we can avoid significant injuries.
  2. May is rolling … I hope he gets the 8th inning. If he allows a base runner, Murph can go to the bullpen.
  3. This team - as currently constructed - has zero margin for error. I would be more surprised than happy with a win on this seven game west coast trip.
  4. Are we supposed to guess? Fill in the blank? Is there a prize? How does this post fit in the IGT?
  5. I’m so glad we can always count on the self-appointed “hall monitors” like you to point out our mistakes & negativity.
  6. There is no justification for Bae being on a major league roster - much less starting a game. We can do better. Too much talent in the minors to watch him on a good team.
  7. Good post … but I’d imagine Poster E feels completely left out since you chose not to acknowledge him.
  8. I’d rather lose 10-0 than 3-2 because of anemic offense & poor managerial decisions
  9. We need a few roster changes before tomorrow night This current roster could be winless in a seven game west coast trip
  10. I love baseball I really love the Brewers I hate games like tonight that are winnable but the offense no shows & wastes an excellent pitching performance by a young, gritty starter
  11. 88 mph center of the strike zone what a pathetic offensive performance
  12. I have never had less confidence in Yelich batting … hope he proves me wrong
  13. Murphy will defend his decision, but he went too far with Henderson tonight … another in a long list of bad in game manager decisions
  14. We deserve to lose tonight as well as any game where our offense can’t score runs … pitiful effort offensively
  15. This shouldn’t take long … Morejon & Miller … darn
  16. Six man rotations don’t work well. A short overworked bullpen can be disastrous.
  17. The bottom of our 26-man roster is extremely weak right now Pratt’s untimely injury & Ortiz’s lack of availability makes this week’s games very difficult There are 3-4 players on the current roster who are not MLB quality
  18. I fear a west coast meltdown on the horizon Our bats have been fairly cold for a few weeks The bullpen is wasted It’s a long season & there are a few miserable stretches We didn’t handle our business against the bad teams prior to this upcoming stretch against quality teams
  19. Let’s put DFA to be rag arm Lyon Richardson out there to finish this loss
  20. Sort of … not really that fun at all … no runs after the surprise homer from Yelich This one is over … rats
  21. Surprised to see Henderson going out for the 7th inning. I understand the exhausted bullpen. Hope he can exit with seven complete & a lead. Risky but maybe necessary. Could be huge if we can close this one out & save the weary “A bullpen” arms.
  22. Our talented young pitching staff has looked … young … recently
