  1. If nothing else - Murphy is consistent He'd have to nod off mid-game for a starting pitcher to go more than six innings
  2. We have a mediocre team top to bottom & our manager has made numerous poor decisions that have burned out a decent bullpen
  3. That’s it for me today. I will check the score in an hour or so. Looks like I’m not alone … almost no activity in the game threads recently. This team is hard to watch in its current make up. Murphy hasn’t had a great month of May. Very few of his in game pitching changes have ended well. Mears was awful in his brief time on the mound today. We no longer have the lead.
  4. Uh oh … we need to wake up … we are looking at losing three of four to Pittsburgh Mears has not started well here in the sixth
  5. What relievers are available today to get the final 12 outs? We must figure out how to get more length out of our starters.
  6. I hope we get another run or two rather than score three in the first & hold on for eight innings hoping our pitching can get us to the finish line
  7. I love the Brewers & believe they have a bright future - IF they hold steady, take their lumps in 2025, sell off veteran pitchers & position players at the deadline, reset this next offseason, & hold on to our valuable prospects for a window of contention starting in … 2027 🤞
  8. I’m curious - for all those on this board who have excused the Brewers poor play by reminding everyone else that “it’s early” - when does that explanation go away? Tomorrow is the 1/3 season mark (54 games) Continuing to say “it’s early” - implying that there is plenty of time for Milwaukee to turn things around - is similar to telling someone “Happy New Year” in March or April. At some point - that response no longer applies.
  9. It’s gotta be true [that the Brewers kept Jay over Shane Smith] … I saw it on the internet 😏
  10. Unfortunately - the score held Another loss to a horrible team We may be equally bad as these Pirates
  11. I don’t disagree … it is hard to admit, but we are much more similar to Pittsburgh than we are to Chicago We need to flush a good number of players off this roster
  12. The Pirates are a bottom five team in baseball & they are playing better than the Brewers in this series …
  13. What a disappointing season to date Tomorrow marks the 1/3 mark of 2025 & at best … if we win today & tomorrow (which won’t happen) … we are a .500 team
  14. It proved to be another classic bad decision by Murphy to pull his starter early Alexander needs to join Payamps in the DFA camp
  15. I despise Murphy In 56 years of following the Brewers, I’ve never liked a manager less I blame him for the majority of our losses He cannot manage a pitching staff Seldom does he make a good decision during a game I will do cart wheels the day he is fired … even if a few years down the road
