  1. I've never seen a 90 mph curveball before Megill. I just can't get used to seeing that filth
  2. Haven't really been following the topic so this is a serious question.....how close are we to having robo umps?
  3. That had to be rigged. No way they're that stupid
  4. His defense alone is a good enough reason to keep him in the lineup
  5. I'm currently in row 13 section 117....right behind home plate. Seeing Angel Hernandez this close up for the first time really illuminates how much he sucks
  6. Now there's a player I didn't want to be reminded of
  7. I like seeing 3 inning saves. I don't know why
  8. I love pitching and defense, but I'm really sick of the Brewers having lackluster offense
  9. The fact that Ben Sheets son is in the majors has me feeling really old
  10. I think a vitamin S deficiency had something to do with that.
  11. Nothing like hearing Uecker call a walk off home run
  12. What an absolute trainwreck for the Marlins. I remember liking the trade, but thinking "man, this is gonna sting in a few years". Sometimes I love being wrong.
  13. In a twisted way, I'm looking forward to seeing what the late years of these contracts does to the franchise.
  14. I started following the Brewers in 1997 and have more than enough painful memories.
  15. If he can get his fastball back up to 95-96 MPH with his new splitter (which looks pretty nasty) and decent curve there's definitely potential there as a reliever
  16. So that's really it? Ruiz is all we gave up?
  17. I still think he cost us the playoffs in 2007, and maybe 2006.
  18. I still think he cost us the playoffs in 2007, and maybe 2006.
  19. I have very vague memories of him as a Brewer in the late 90s and mostly see him as a Cardinal. I remember a low to mid 90s fastball and a pretty good upper 70s/low 80s curve. What did he throw in his early years?
  20. This was never a World Series caliber team with their absolutely extreme boom or bust offense, and even if this trade cost us the playoffs this year, I still like.
