  1. Radio guys trying to make every out into some sort of moral victory.
  2. Tangent: it's almost impossible to follow this forum on my phone due to the absolute blizzard of ads. I MIGHT pay a reasonable fee to get rid of them.
  3. Radio guys mention that there are few "outs" in the Mets' line up. In contrast...is there ANYONE in the Brewers' line up who scares the other team? Spoiler alert: No. But... let's start scoring some runs that are as cheap as the ones scored against us recently! It ain't always how hard you hit it, it's where (and when).
  4. "Vibe"? "No vibe"? (I hate those Vizzy radio commercials.)
  5. Random irrelevant comment: There's no better name for a pitching coach than Chris HOOK.
  6. Please. No sunshine pumpers citing various numbers to show that the Crew is better than the record. It's like Mark Twain saying Wagner's music is "better than it sounds." The Brewers are losing and they cannot hit when it matters. Maybe there will be a big renaissance in July. Really. But I wouldn't bet the contents of my penny jar on it.
  7. Very late to the funeral here. But Yelich going 3 for 5 in the leadoff spot suggests that he's better (i.e., gets more pitches to hit) when there's at least the possibility of a good hitter behind him, Too bad we don't have enough of them.
  8. Hitting the ball over the fence is also how you make runs. ?
  9. Better than hard-hit outs, according to the baseball gods. So it is and ever shall be.
  10. I see that Yelich singled to left earlier. That's better than hitting a screamer into the shift or to RF.
  11. You know the game is waaaaay lost when the announcers are talking about the fun things in cities where the team will be visiting.
  12. My $0.02: Let them play the shift; flatten the mound.
  13. This didn't age well... in less than an half an hour.
  14. The wouldn't seem so bad if we scored more runs.
  15. How many ways are there to say, "we need guys who can hit"? I'm afraid we're about to see how far you CAN'T go in a long season when you rely on decent starters, a mediocre bullpen (even counting Hader), and a weak batting lineup. It just gets old. Please let me be wrong this half-inning.
