  1. He wasn't the first 12...
  2. The Cardinals have been eliminated.
  3. Hopefully for both teams... It'll probably be Payamps and Williams, but with the way Megill took care of the top of the lineup last night, I'd be tempted to trot him out next inning.
  4. The opportunity to flash the leather/arm doesn't happen "all the time" - just accept that he's a plus defender and a minus batter at this point, and a pinch runner candidate too. As soon as Canha and Yelich get back, he'll go back to the bench.
  5. We saw Elvis strike out Jesus today....
  6. You overlook it when you're 18 games over in mid-September, but it is still an accomplishment for a franchise with a 40th percentile payroll.
  7. Lost in the shuffle after last night's win, the Brewers won their 81st game, guaranteeing at least a .500 record. I know it's not that big of a deal with this many games remaining, but that is a worthy milestone to acknowledge and celebrate....
  8. One of the all-time names for a Brewer, Billy Jo Robideaux. He was a monster in the minors and people were clamoring for him for years, but he never amounted to much in the majors.
  9. Looking forward to the first time someone can use foie gras in a limerick…..
  10. I don't think I get the obscurity thing. This number is always Gumby.....
  11. Megill's 5 outs were all Ks. That's 27 per 9 if I have my math right...
  12. 8/24 Brewers' magic numbers: Cubs 33 Reds 32 Pirates 23 Cardinals 21
  13. Well, they didn't tack on, but I was on the same wavelength, bullpen usage-wise. Hopefully, that was the last AB for Seager....
  14. If the Crew could tack on a couple here, I wouldn't mind sending Megill out there to face 8 & 9 in the order....
