  1. Well that was easy. Thanks Brewers.
  2. Anyone have any specific guys left I should be hoping we draft?? I'm hoping for a catcher or two.
  3. Last pick of the day: Jake Drossner, LHP, University of Maryland 6'3, 210 lb Decent arm, lacks control. MLB guys suggested a bullpen arm potentially. Like the arm but that's about it it seemed.
  4. Trying to clean out my house from this mass of stuff I've accumulated. Came across a bunch of extra bobbleheads that I really have no use for. None of them are really all that coveted I don't think, but maybe I can help fill out a collection or two. Live in the Waukesha area and would prefer to meet if possible. All of them have never even been out of the box. Here's the list....looking to sell or trade. Not really sure what to ask for these, but just make me an offer if you have any interest. I'm specifically looking for the 2011 Miller Lite Beer Can bobblehead. That's the only one I'm missing and I can't seem to get it. 1980’s Cecil Cooper 2000’s CC Sabathia 2011 Hot Dog (2) Aramis Ramirez – 2013 Barrel Man Bob Uecker Braves (2) Carlos Gomez – 2013 (in gold Cervesaros jersey) Corey Hart – 2013 (in weird “M” uniform) – (2) George Scott (3) Italian Sausage – 2010 Italian Sausage - 2012 Jason Kendall Jean Segura Jean Segura 2014 SSH Jeff Suppan (2) Miller Lite Bottle - 2010 Randy Wolf Trevor Hoffman
  5. About what we expected I think. Couple of college guys that seem likely to sign for under slot.
  6. Brewers select: Eric Hanhold, RHP, Florida Has touched 95 apparently. Pitched out of the bullpen for the Gators. They are still playing in the CWS, so maybe we can catch him on TV.
  7. Since we're on a new thread...thanks to everyone for filling me in on the prospects and some of the inner workings of the draft. I'm not that into the prospects like I am with the NFL and NBA, but I like to follow what's going on. Thanks for those in the know for helping me out and answering my questions.
  8. Are we switching over to the next thread at this point?
  9. Round 5....Brewers select: Blake Allemand, SS, Texas A+M Switch hitting SS - contact bat, not a ton of power. Projects as a utility guy or 2b according to MLB guys. Seems like the first relatively safe, easy sign pick.
  10. Alright so who should we hope for now? Seems like a lot of guys are falling, I'm guessing we won't draft many of them. Anyone see any steals left at this point? Gotta be getting kinda thin I would think as we're into 5th round of players. MLB has Donny Everett, Justin Hooper, Luken Baker, Cole Sands and Kyle Molnar as the top left.
  11. Skye Bolt just got picked. I know nothing about him, but that's one sweet name.
  12. Seems to be the exact type of player we SHOULD be selecting. Sure, he's a project, but the upside is enormous and he seems to be a tremendous athlete. Hard to complain about that at this point in the draft.
  13. Brewers select: Demi Orimoloye - RF MLB guys seem to really like him.
  14. I'm assuming they think they can sign Walters if they are drafting him here. I'm also assuming Chalmers and Everett are falling due to how much money they must be asking for.
  15. Nash Walters - RHP, Lindale HS in Texas
  16. Anyone I should be really hoping for here at pick 90?
  17. I didn't even think of this but honestly, why in the heck does the MLB network not have live coverage of the draft? They have one job, cover Major League Baseball and they fail. Idiots. Just double checked, and it's definitely not on TV today - at least not on MLB Network. Seems odd. I know we wouldn't have heard of most of the guys, but it's still something to follow live and some people would watch. If they really want people to care about it, at least make it accessible. They wouldn't need to talk about everything player, but they could certainly spotlight some. At least for todays rounds.
  18. Whats the best way to follow the draft today? I'm guessing it's not on TV...does MLB's website have a draftcast?
  19. I thought the same thing. The ball went all the way to the backstop and Gomez was on second...he certainly was going to third. And it theoretically cost us a run. Though who knows, maybe they pitch around Braun then?
  20. Kyle Cody just went 73 to Minnesota.
  21. Unlike most of you....I know very little about these guys. But according to MLB's pre-draft rankings. We took 3 of the top 32 prospects.
  22. Ponce....many of you wanted him right????
  23. Most of the guys everyone wanted last time are still sitting out here for us....take one please!
