  1. Sac fly. Shuckers lose. Yuck. Poor look from Yeager. Had nothing off-speed landing. Heater wasn't landing consistently but he was forced to throw it falling behind every batter. Man. That hurts.
  2. Now 3-0 to the next batter. He has missed to every hitter early and often. No bueno. Walks. Nowhere close high and in.
  3. Nobody out. Tie game. Runners on the corner. Fell behind to every batter. Not a good look for Yeager tonight. I've seen this Act before.
  4. Yeager falls behind 3-1 to the next batter. Gets the foul out of play into the stands past 1B/RF. 3-2 count. Heater top of the zone. Fouled straight back. Runner trots back to 1B leaving on the pitch. And he just misses on high outside heat. Whewww. Men on 1st and 2nd. Nobody out.
  5. Tying run is aboard for Chattanooga via a short liner to shallow LF over the leaping Pratt. Man on first. Nobody out.
  6. Shuckers got two aboard with nobody down (1st and 2nd) to start their ninth. Spain K'd. Adams K'd. Boeve will try to do damage. Big insurance runs are on the bags. Can he get them across?
  7. Clean 1-2-3 from Childers. You love to see it. Gets the swinging K on low off-speed to end the 8th frame. And, before three runs were scored by Great Lakes the umpire gave them a free pass after the second out via fly out to RF. He called a 'dead ball'. That batter lined a single to LF on the next pitch. Not a fan. 🙃
  8. Man, these Chattanooga camera cut aways where we lose the feed for like a half inning randomly really sucks when the Shuckers just took the lead 9-8 in the top of the 8th. Apparently there's one out? LOL. Nice job Childers!
  9. As a card carrying and founding member of the Dinges Fanatic Club, it is my fiscal responsibility to our shareholders (essentially, @Spencer Michaelis and myself - and, honestly, Spencer doesn't know he is in this club tho if we're being honest he founded it) to establish notoriety and recognition in the public domain. We will be going Public on NASDAQ this fall under the ticker acronym 'DNGRS' we will open trading at $0.999. This honors his AI algorithm-derived future career-MLB OPS.
  10. LARA!!! OPPO TWO RUN DOUBLE TO THE RF WALL AND THE SHUCKERS TAKE THE LEAD BACK 9-8 TOP OF 8!
  11. The plan was always one inning. @ARobsBrewCrewtold us so two weeks ago before the debut was pushed back, fwiw. That young man keeps us in the loop.
  12. Quero's hit tool was never remotely as good as Dinges'. I mean this with all due respect to Quero and anyone's thoughts on Quero. Dinges' hit tool is legit Silver Slugger upside. Quero had a nice run at the dish but I never once felt the way about his bat that I do about Dinges' whose swing is pure silky violent butter nearly every swing attempt with bat speed in the mid 80's! I mean, we are legit looking at a possible Superstar here folks. I am not kidding. He's 21.
  13. Dinges is not mortal. I asked his dad...who is a God from Ancient Greece. Crazy! He has a lightning bolt in that bat but we mortals can not see it.
  14. I'm going to say something mildly controversial but, then again, I often go against the grain of the group think in Prospect Land and I certainly disagree with the Brewers on many of their prospect rankings and opinions: C Marco Dinges is a better prospect at this stage of his career than C Jeferson Quero. Especially, if we consider the shoulder injury to Quero. Dinges is younger. He's improving at the dish on a game-by-game basis. He has a cannon - the throw to 2B will improve. He's younger and has a better hit tool than Quero ever has. Prove me wrong. And,Regardless of what y'all think and regardless if this take ins merely subjective to my POV: We struck absolute GOLD here.
  15. I hear that the Zona Crew is lining up like this under the AZ lights... Engel Paulino CF Frederi Montero 1B Luis Corobo DH Jadyn Fielder LF Kevin Garcia C Roderick Flores 2B Demetrio Nadal 3B Kevin Ereu SS Pedro Ibarguen RF & one Hayden Robinson on the mound. Rumor has it!
  16. LHP Jesus Broca with some really nice work of late out of the Timber Rattlers Pen. Dare I say, he has become a stabilizing force in those uncertain middle innings of late?
  17. Well, honestly, what I noticed before tonight's game even began? Lameda wasn't in the line up. Go ahead and look at his June production. Red hot. You are leading by 1.0 G. Gotta get him in the line-up. Not a fan. But, then again, I'm used to the Brewers and Nick Stanley doing this in Low-A. If you recall last season, I went through this exact same thing with Stanley with Miguel Briceno in the playoffs. Hurt me! Hurt me, I say!
  18. Seigler just airmailed a turning throw away from his body sky high over EMJ and into the dugout. The work continues.
  19. Zimmerman really 'recovered' quite nicely, honestly. He trailed 7-0 early. He completed six frames. Sounds bit back into the lead. They trail 7-5. We'll take it? 🫠 Well, we don't have a choice!
  20. Mudcats are very much playing like a young Low-A team the last couple weeks. They've had a lot of injuries. Promotions and injuries to key players. Decimated pitching staff. They are now tied atop their division. Wild.
  21. Also, I envision Tanner Shears and Yerlin Rodriguez on Face Time:
  22. Yup. The walks remain his kryptonite. He has incredible stuff. He lacks refinement. BUT, there are a lot of tools in his bag. Just has to figure out how to control his release point. Extremely violent delivery.
