  1. Also, I envision Tanner Shears and Yerlin Rodriguez on Face Time:
  2. Yup. The walks remain his kryptonite. He has incredible stuff. He lacks refinement. BUT, there are a lot of tools in his bag. Just has to figure out how to control his release point. Extremely violent delivery.
  3. Adams has taken two pitches high up and in tonight. He is finally plunked in the top of the fourth with two down. Right smack dab in the center of the back. Ouch! That man is a baseball magnet. Remains absurdly confounding.
  4. Quero with a stupid out on the basepaths to end the Sounds threat in the sixth. Runners on the corners. Two down. Red hot Eddie Rosario at the dish with a 2-2 count. Quero leaves for 2B on a pitch in the dirt blocked in front of the catcher. He's tagged out in a bang-bang play. Can not leave there. Just a bad base running decision.
  5. Sounds are making things interesting in Norfolk. Quero just send another run across with a two-out single into RF. It's now a 7-5 deficit with Rosario coming to the dish. Men on the corners.
  6. I give you a beautiful rendition of how One who has watched nearly every one of INF Juan Baez's innings as a Brewer just might imagine a Baez inside-the-parker Little League HR ended up. A beautiful image. Put it in the Louvre!
  7. That Wilken error was almost an exact replica of Di Turi's error early in the Mudcats game. Both were right in there gloves they just botched the gather. Wilken had a very slow runner going down the 1B line too. That one hurts. Lookouts followed with a shallow bloop single to get two on and nobody out.
  8. Well, I love knowing this as Birchard has two men on and nobody out again to start his third inning. Two innings in a row.
  9. Chattanooga's announcer is a long-time oldster. His call on the dinger was hilariously understated. It was a bomb over the LF wall. You would have thought you were hearing a casual conversation during batting practice.
  10. Booooo to errors. They have really snake bitten the teams tonight. Muddies were done in by two drops. Now Wilken's error. Take it away gents, animal chores for this Farm 'Boy'.
  11. Birchard loses his stuff randomly inning-to-inning. BUT, man, his stuff is really good. If he could just fine-tune that release point. He tends to lose the heater arm side up and in. And, then, he tends to lose off-speed location when he's working through it. Regardless, he gets through a high pitch two walk second inning with no damage. Swinging K to end it on a filthy high 95 mph heat. Made a really athletic play on a weakly hit dribbler down the 1B line. I love his stuff. He is far from a polished prospect but we should all be really excited about what he might become.
  12. I absolutely LOVE him, my friend. LOVE him. His game is so tantalizingly good.
  13. Dinges is such an incredible talent. With his bat. His arm. And his improving framing and defense, he is pretty easily a Top 10 prospect for me (keep in mind haven't voted on prospects all season long). His bat does not grow on trees. Unreal talent.
  14. See. I just had to leave the 'broadcast' (I don't know what you call that). If the defense is sharp, they Muddies lead 1-0.
  15. Scary Gary has absolutely torched Zimmerman for two XBH's including a 3-run HR just now. My goodness. Sounds trail 7-0. As I said pre-game: Zimmerman has yet to stack outings. He just isn't doing it.
  16. Burke scorched a line shot down the RF line and into the corner. Dinges rocked an absolute bomb off the high LF wall. Missed a HR by about 3'. Just an absolute rocket.
  17. Mudcats defense leaves Hernandez high and dry in the fifth frame yet again. Anderson charged and dove for a shallow pop fly with Made and Bitonti converging but letting up. He misses the catch as it bounces off his webbing. I think it's 2-0 Hillcats now? BUT, there scoreboard is just as bad as their audio. I really have no idea. This telecast is a quagmire. Come to think of it, I'm just going to go ahead and shut this off - Muddies aren't hitting anything or capitalizing (wink wink). Time to start the Shuckers from scratch.
  18. Got him going for 3rd base btw after he had just stole 2B (26 SB on that young man's season). 94 mph heater up and in and Dinges ripped one dead accurate to 3B. He is very good to the corner bases. 2B is still very much a work in progress.
  19. Rosario with a double to start the Sounds 4th frame. Deep to right CF warning track. Dalbec will try to knock him across.
  20. OH we have audio now at Great Lakes just in time to watch Nicasia going down looking on a massive hook.
  21. Looking forward to going back and watching baby. My lil laptop multi-screen set up can't handle four games this year. I fried my IMAC last fall and am now an impoverished three game viewer.
  22. Dinges didn't score on Areinamo's dub. He scored on Hedbert's single by my eyes. FWIW.
  23. T-Rats have scored three so far (I'm behind) in the first after two outs. Burke HBP. Dinges BB. Areinamo pull double to the LF wall. 1-0. Hedbert is up on my feed now. Meanwhile, the Mudcats offense stranded two more in the fourth. Zimmerman is getting shelled in the third frame here. Sounds trail 4-0. Two down.
  24. Hernandez just gave up a two out single to shallow CF here in the bottom of the 3rd. Meanwhile, Walther finally got his man! He nabbed the runner at 2B - CS to end the frame. Noice! Beautiful throw and tag by Made.
