  1. Just split the final 6-Game series vs the Wahoos. Now the Shuckers face them in the initial post-season Best of 3. Here's hoping!
  2. Back to LaFleur. You have lost 5 straight coming into Week 1 getting outscored by 53 points in the 4th qtr and OT during that span. You have an opportunity to go ahead by a TD and a two point conversion. You made the FG (!!!). The old adage is "Take the points on the road." for obvious reasons. LaFleur simply has zero feel. He does not know the difference between aggressive and reckless. That was the game. I don't care about the refs. I don't care about Jordan checking into the sneak with a woeful bit of execution. The HC has to see the forest for the trees. In that environment. Against Flores. With the lead. Just an absurd amount of obliviousness. It truly is absurd. Ben Johnson goes for it on his own 21 because that is Ben Johnson. It's who he is. Matt LaFleur has no identity but near certainty it will be the wrong play; or the wrong execution; at precisely the wrong moment. We are in Packers prison.😅
  3. SO, let me get this straight: Same O-Line Coach Same Offensive Coordinator No FA O-Line additions Same injured failed 2025 FA acquisition was to be starting LG Spent one off-season asset drafting Jaeger Burton Benched Burton after rotating with 1's all TC Started Donovan Jennings and Jacob Monk The devolution of the Packers O-Line self-scout started under LaFleur and Steno as O-Line coach. It has evaporated under Butkus. This is an uncanny quagmire.
  4. It's such an easy card to play: downplaying a prospect's chances. We get it. Making The Show is absurdly hard and lasting at the Level even harder. Yet, I will choose celebrating and envisioning the loftiest projections because it is much more enjoyable - naturally, at the same time, grounded in the understanding the loftiest projections are unlikely reached. Anywho...
  5. Really really nice outing from RHP Josh Knoth. You love to see it!
  6. I'd have to think, at current statuses across the staff, if a series started today you'd have to go Miz; Hendo; May with Gasser as the man in waiting? It just feels like Harrison is trending toward being left off the post-season roster which is crazy to even think.
  7. SO, Harrison. His velo was up. The results were absent yet again. What do they do with this strange devolution? Playoffs are right around the corner. What an odd turn of events.
  8. With pride I proclaim: I will always remember 2024 DSL Argenis Aparicio. 😔
  9. For everything, honestly. No more Forums. No topics. Just a Brewer Fanatic life as one massive pile of everything.
  10. Wagoner continues to slay in the International League. IF there is a season in 2027, he is going to get an invite to Big League ST along with Blake Holub. Those two give me great hope we may have another couple Aces up the sleeve of some homegrown arms capable of Leverage down the line. We get a healthy Tyler Bryant returned to form? Let's make that three.
  11. Yeah, Doubs had a brutal debut. Apparently, he was a decoy to get Mack Hollins open. Who knew?!? IF Love had the game Drake Maye had he would be eviscerated. He would be absolutely piled on. J-Love is so much better than people realize.
  12. I was told, at the time of the trade, anyone lamenting the loss of Frias and Ragsdale was just prospect hugging. In predictable fashion, Josiah has been on an absolute tear. May, simply put, has to he better. Thankfully, we have some Blue Chippers in that outfield grass that lessen the sting and Antunez's absurdly good early Low-A work was indeed a shining light of the season. As to Payne, specifically, this season changes the calculus entirely. Before he was a hard working athlete playing baseball. Finally healthy, he showcased he truly may be a Superstar in the wings.
  13. Hopefully the press corps has their act together and someone casually plays Taps on their phone during Sproat's post game interview.
  14. Hey Gary Sanchez is auditioning for leverage roles. He is a savant.
  15. Why do the Brewers keep going back to this Brandon Sproat well? He has the pitching version of the yips on an MLB mound - broken psyche and mechanics gone haywire. Just call up Garrett Stallings and give him that role. He has been very good and effective and throws actual strikes. Can't wait for another downtrodden post-game interview with the Sproatster. A genre all its own.
  16. It's certainly a notable season. It's a fantastic change from where his trajectory was headed. I think he needs to prove it, tho, with another plus season. He really struggled in 2025. Is this real? I sure hope so!
  17. Welcome to Bikoxi, Wande. I see you've made yourself right at Home on the vaunted Shuckers pitching staff!
  18. Already headed to Biloxi. Just an awesome storyline in 2026!
  19. Hey, you have to give an extra special nod of affirmation: Pannone was facing what turned out to be his last batter and fell behind 3-0! That is what we call in the Industry: 'Cajones'!
  20. Hey, hats off to an epic and worthy call by the Durham broadcaster(s) and Patrick Kinas! Love that! Pros pros they are - I've enjoyed their professional calls many a night as the Sounds faced Durham over the years.
  21. I am absolutely FLOORED. What a moment for Mr. Pannone. SO happy for Him. My word!
  22. Heads up, Bucky fans they eclipsed last year's PPG average by 0.2 points. On the up and up!
  23. I really really dislike the empty sets inside the 50. You had the TO. Get a single back look and run a RPO or just run it at least once w some inline TE's. You had a TO. Do not like it.
  24. This TO usage is definitely an admirable tip of the cap to Lambeau Home Field TO usage tendencies. Love that stealthy homage!
