  1. I was going to say watch out Babe/Cy Bauers but I think you are on to something here.
  2. Welp, there was that T-Rats game. Whatever that was. AND, then there was this Sounds game-sealing play in the top of the 9th to Save the Win. What a play by Adams!
  3. 25-6 ?!? LOL. I see Alastre fit right into that beleaguered T-Rats staff. My goodness. They have some guys on that staff that are sticks of dynamite on that mound. My word.
  4. Stop the presses. RHP Ryan Birchard has two scoreless relief outings in May with zero walks. This includes tonight's clean 1.0 IP 3 K effort.
  5. I see Rivera came aboard after JD walked his lead off man in the 5th. He proceeded to give up a double. Men on 2nd and 3rd. Nobody out. T-Rats cling to a 3-1 lead.
  6. Man, Adamczewski is an absolute machine right now. 2-for-2 early with a triple. JD Thompson went 4.0 IP scattering 2 H, 2 BB, allowing 1 ER with 5 K. Got up to 56 pitches. You love to see it.
  7. All I can say after the Wild collapse at the Avs last night is Hynes aint it manning the Wild bench. The Avs are absolutely the class of the League - an absolute wagon. MacKinnon is an absolute Hoss. Ek and Brodin missed the entire series - such a massive absence especially vs this Avs team. BUT, Pairing Middleton and Spurgeon again for an Elimination game (paired on the ice for 3-of-4 Avs goals); going into a defensive shell after jumping to the 3-0 lead; the failure to adapt to the situation game after game...it ultimately left the team out to dry. Wild have some serious decisions to make across their roster. Billy G has shown he will do what it takes roster-wise. BUT, man alive, I hope he is looking at Cassidy or Knoblauch. Bednar is a Savage. So envious.😅
  8. I love it when a young talented pitcher faces some adversity and works his way out of it relatively unscathed. Good sign.
  9. I hear DL Hall's favorite hobby is going for walks in the Park.
  10. Boeve is heating up! 3-for-5 tonight with a 9th inning double for his second RBI of his evening. Shuckers lead the crusty Biscuits 11-3.
  11. Make that 18 straight Games on base for Señor Keith. 1-for-4, 1 R, 1 RBI, 1 BB, 1 SB.
  12. Lara with another 3-Hit night! My Gods! Wilken with a three-bagger. Sounds win their second straight over Iowa, 4-1.
  13. Another HR surrendered by Manuel. Thankfully only one long ball and his team is cruising BUT that's now 9 HR allowed in 33 1/3 IP. That's a HR every 3.70 IP! No bueno.
  14. RHP Braylon Owens with another fantastic outing. He picks up the five inning Save with his 5.0 IP of 2 H, 2 BB, 1 ER, 6 K work. He has been one of those under the radar very good arms for a Wisconsin pitching staff that has mostly struggled to find their form.
  15. In the past week or so we got the Yerlin Rodriguez random 3 up 3 K inning. We also just got this: El Juan's first HR since way back on May 26th of 2024. I still randomly chuckle about the AFL two week long ball hot streak that had many of us here thinking he'd suddenly found something. Good times!
  16. Yeah, I was just about to point out he's at least found real highs to his real lows (ergo last night's 3 K night at the dish). I personally still believe in the player but the K rate continues to very much be his kryptonite. He's sitting at a ripe ol' 35.7 K% on the season if we include today's output. I think, more than anything, he's starting to find some comfort?
  17. I don't know what is going to happen or how it is going to happen. BUT, with John Horts and Milty steering a vessel sponsored by a heavily involved Jimmy Haslam, I don't know what could go wrong. We got this!
  18. Yup Six straight scoreless outings with 1 H, 1 BB, and 9 K over 6 1/3 IP is quite good. I am sooooo hoping Good Yoho is firmly back.
  19. We have now given up fewer runs than the Dodgers on the heels of a 2 HR night for old friend C Eric Haase...off RHP Yoahinobu Yamamoto. Because, baseball.😅
  20. I completely understand the bullpen and leverage concerns. AND, personally, I found it surreal tonight when I looked at the League RA stat and saw the Brewers have actually allowed the third fewest runs in all of MLB. AND, they trail only the Braves and Dodger by 2 and 1 run allowed, respectively. Perhaps even crazier is the Crew have scored the seventh most runs with so many glaring inefficiencies in their line up and such a lack of long balls. How do we even do it?!?😅
  21. Since giving up 2 runs back on April 25th, RHP Craig Yoho has found his groove in a big way. 6 Outings. 6 1/3 IP 1 H. 1 BB. 0 R, 9 K. Yowza. Is Yoho back?! He shut the door with a scoreless 2 K inning tonight as the Sounds win 9-3.
  22. Oh, and hey Lara with another 3-hit performance. That has to be his 7th or 8th 3-hit night on the year. What an absolutely insane storyline.
