  1. Well yeah. Absolutely. 100%. He's been PHENOMENAL. Let's be real. Entirely unexpected awesomeness.
  2. Brian Anderson wins today's award of: Most Innocuous Contact off a Piece of Wood
  3. Terry Stotts lead assistant. I can not impart how utterly AWESOME this is. He's an offensive design savant: This. Is. Huge. Can I get out the first: "Bring Dame Home." chant?
  4. Boy, has Monasterio's defense absolutely come on in the past month plus. Unbelievable difference. That was not an easy charging scoop and flip. Love to see it.
  5. I would like to remind us: we lead by 4 with 3 innings remaining. We are winning. That was a rough inning, yes. But, it didn't lose the game (hopefully) 😅
  6. EIGHT stolen bases? WHewwwwww. That's a first since 1976 😅
  7. I will say seeing Megill for the first time with the Brewers, I absolutely get why the Brewers sold Erceg to Oakland. Megill has more experience. He essentially throws the same stuff but with more size and we bought him. Just throwing it out there. Regardless of how this inning goes, btw.
  8. Seven steals for the Reds? My goodness.
  9. Reds announcers: "Joey Votto starts his rehab assignment tonight..." Thinks to self: "When isn't Votto on a rehab assignment these days?"
  10. And, as per usual (good grief), @wiguy94and I essentially double post. We do it every Tuesday and Wednesday night in the Minor League threads. We're obnoxious.😅
  11. Wiemer catches that screamer to CF (which he should have) and Rae essentially has 0-1 runs? Can't recall. Regardless, this has been a fantastic outing from Rae. His 2-seamer (for the most part) and his curve have been really dang good today.
  12. I swear the Reds' Matt McClain has put on 15 lbs since just last season. He was not this built last year in the lower levels. Not even remotely. What a wild physical transformation. Their club has to be tickled pink.
  13. Oh Joey. Oh Joey. Having a couple classic rookie mistakes today. Woof.
  14. There's that Big Jon soft hands party. I'm telling y'all. Hands are SO good. He makes it look easy. 🥰
  15. Man, Rae's breaking ball hitting that lower half is chef's kiss today. Glorious location.
  16. Wait, did they seriously score that McCain liner a HIT? GTFO. No way. That was a misplay 100%. Good grief. Scorers.
  17. Hey, when you recognize and routinely enjoy the best watch in our organization in LOW-A? You are ready for some MLB success! Let's f'ng GO!
  18. That's right. All aboard the first place Train baby.
  19. That was an absolute screamer by Anderson who might have a combined 80 mph on his two hits?
  20. Indeed. And a very good one at that. BUT, called up an all. I imagine Couns is comfortable with Wiemer in CF. Perkins is better. And this is coming from a fairly large Wiemer fanboy. Perkins is really just so smooth moving in the OF.
  21. Both runs are on the botched play in CF by Wiemer. I will simply remind us all: he's a fill in CF'er who can fit the bill there because he's a ridiculous athlete. BUT, CF is not his primary position. He is playing there because we lost Mitchell. Frelick is injured etc.
