  1. Absolutely incredible value. Dane Brugler's 10th ranked OT overall. Coming to Green Bay as their project is literally the perfect scenario for he and the Packers. Unbelievable value.
  2. That's a 3rd-4th round talent who, with proper coaching, could be a future 10 year starting OT in the League. Just incredible value. Goodness i LOVE this draft.
  3. Oh wow. Rasheed Walker in the 7th?! Incredible value. I didn't even realize he was still available. Just wow. This draft continues to amaze.
  4. I'll never forget when the Vikings failed to get their first round pick in many drafts ago and then literally almost failed to get the first round pick in the very next year. It made me so belly-laughing happy. Those were wonderful draft moments.
  5. So, a few things seem very true given the way this draft went: (1) As @LouisEly has clearly pointed out on several occasions, the Packers really like the TE room they have contrary to outside opinions. (2) They also clearly love their CB room and feel they are more than fine with depth there. (3) The late season emergence of Patrick Taylor and the early performance of Kylin Hill and our RB room is legitimately as set as it could be. Lots to like in their group. I think Taylor's emergence and ability to catch the ball out of the backfield may have been one of my most pleasant surprises of the 2021 season.
  6. I was just messing with you. Tyler was always that Try Hard where you were left asking: We can't do better than that? The coaches seemed to love him but it also seemed like he honestly never made a single play. I actually think with these additions and the Reed addition and a possible Year 2 Slaton and Heflin leap and we're golden.
  7. No Tyler Lancaster.
  8. Yup. I was just editing that in. He is a massive man. No doubt about it. Hopefully there's something there as he gets away from Miami. He's really not all that explosive. He's a big big man who eats space. Those are useful in spots.
  9. Jonathan Ford, DT University of Miami. Legitimately the first pick where I'm like: Well, that seems like just a body. LOL. Ford's a big guy at like 6'4" is 335 and can hold the point but I think he was one of those guys that never really did all that much at the college level. It's hard to imagine he'd improve versus NFL blocking but, then again, maybe this is Tyler Lancaster competition? Or PS stash?
  10. You can kind of tell with his 3 Cone and shuttle he's probably more explosive in a straight line. Probably a little stiff in his lateral movements so you aren't going to want to have him in the Slot. But, core ST's with a chance as a Box Safety who can cover most TE's is not a bad weapon to take a flyer on in the 7th.
  11. You have to think with his explosiveness he'll find his way as a four unit ST guy with the ability to take Henry Black's role eventually or even back-up Amos as a Box Safety. Depends on how he absorbs the playbook but that's a 4 year starter at Georgia Tech. Good 7th round flyer.
  12. Looks like he had a 39" vert, a 4.47 40 with an 11'4" Broad jump. This is an explosive player.
  13. Tariq Carpenter SS/LB - ST guy was also in for a visit. GB really sticking to their board and their visits. LOL. Jinx. I'm in after you two. Funny.
  14. GB picked submitted within five seconds. They really know who they want on Day 3.
  15. On to the 7th round. We are up in 7 picks.
  16. He missed some time as a Junior at the tail end of the season and prior to that he had a fairly serious hip surgery before that year where he couldn't even walk for a couple months. However, beyond that, I haven't heard much more. It was essentially just declared: You'd need to check the Medicals to alleviate concerns of anything lingering.
  17. I seriously am having a hard time containing my excitement over here. I've been watching Packers drafts in entirety for too long. I am used to leaving the drafts convincing myself to give the picks time...they are the experts etc. This draft, I want to run through walls I am so excited to have these football players. It's a very odd feeling!
  18. I'm going to play the: "The odds are in our favor" card.
  19. Here's a Fennell Retweet from April 2021. Do you think he's stoked?
  20. I recall that discussion and presentation as well. And Ben just posted this:
  21. I think Ross also loves this draft. LOL:
  22. That pick came in under 15 seconds. They absolutely knew what they wanted there. What a draft!
