The wild card for me in this entire mix is Brock. If you can somehow pry him from the Oklahoma commit, that's just an absurdly (even more) athletic Catcher to pair with the massively ascending Dinges (Shoutout OG 'Dinges Hype Club' members from 2024). It's taking the Seigler utility knife and getting two premium positions potentially in a wild n wooly CF/C split?!? He was clocked over 23 mph. I have a hard time comprehending this even today. Johnson made it seem like Underwood had a significant possiblity of signing with the club given their pre-existing relationship there. Roupe, Bentley and Holden seem like the most unlikely to sign. Roupe is a South Carolina boy through and through - he grew up very close to Columbia, SC and flipped his commitment there explicitly stating his ties to South Carolina. Regardless, as always of late, this 11-through-20 HS crop will be fascinating to see who actually comes aboard. I know Episcope pitched at Princeton - my sister and brother-in-law's alma mater and my niece and nephew's current university - but he also came via the Midwest. I do wonder if Poulson wasn't involved peripherally or in the early stages of putting an eye to his arsenal.
I hope you all appreciate the massiveness of putting together this article the same day of the draft. It's a lot of work. Well done, Spencer!
