  1. He has a four pitch mix. Fastball averages 18.8" IVB (wild n wooly!) followed by a slider and curve. Change up is a very young undeveloped pitch with not enough arm action deception at present. Fun lotto grab! Big athletic frame. 3/4 slot.
  2. Yup. Bullpen Velo: #4 at 94.9 mph Bullpen IVB: #3 @ 19.9" he came to the combine unranked but left with many asking how that happened (including BA)
  3. What's fun about Lauridsen is he was allllll over the top rankings of the Draft Combine lists. Going back to look that over now but I remember his name all up in those Top 5's.
  4. Full Prospects Live Interview. No embed link. Seems like a really great kid. HERE Signed to Georgia Tech. I think he signs.
  5. Nice write up on Underwood just yesterday via Hotlanta News First.
  6. From Three Quarter Slot: Summary: A twitchy shortstop who can really pick it, Hughes certainly projects as a guy who will stick at short. He has excellent footwork, especially around the bag, and a solid arm that allows him to make all the throws. At the plate, he is a legitimate switch hitter with a hit over power, hitterish look. He makes plenty of contact from both sides, although the impact on the baseball is somewhat limited. While he can continue as a switch hitter, I don’t see much upside on the power front in his swing on the right side of the dish, although there is some fringy potential in the left-handed batter’s box. He is undersized, but also young, won’t turn 18 until October, so a team that believes in the potential could get a steal in July, otherwise he will be headed to UCSB in the Fall.

  8. He is indeed a Switch Hitter. Throws right.

  10. Ragsdale earned Cape Cod League 'Player of the Week' Honors when the calendar flipped to July 1st.
  11. Well, it may be your dream. BUT, it is definitively Murphy's aspiration.
  12. Put this post in the Louvre! HOF caliber right here.
  13. Do I remember us being loosely associated with Dickinson coming into the draft?
  14. Man she has been on an absolute HEATER of late. The Brewers know they can't send her to the PNW region because she would likely start a wildfire with her output and work.
  15. Ginger liked your tweet?! You've been touched by a baseball angel. Print that tweet. Frame it in gold. Shine a spotlight. Pray. #LetGingerCook
  16. BTW, Brewers 4th rounder, RHP Josh Flores was indeed teammates at Lake Central HS with Adamczewski & one 'I only throw strikes' Griffin Tobias. AND, since we're all active in here it is worth mentioning: Little birdies in the desert shared Saturday was indeed a planned night off for Adamczewski. He is continuing to respond favorably during and post-game. Body is in a good place. I don't know if he'll be playing today and/or tomorrow but, the real good news? He is scheduled to be sent to Carolina to join his Mudcats teammates for the second half push after their All-Star Break.
  17. Man, as a whole? I absolutely adore this day for the Brewers. Hard to complain given the shape of the player pool. Didn't see them heading this way (when do I ever see where they are heading in the draft) but love it.
  18. I think Morrison didn't pitch in 2024 either? Just seems like a young man ready to take off. 107 innings. 2.89 FIP. 25% K rate. Throws a ton of strikes. Only walks 5% of hitters. Seems like a guy with a ton of untapped development in here.
  19. MAN, another pick I LOVE. Man, these last three have me jazzed to the gills. He's 6'8". Unreal curve ball. Has a cutter already in the bag. Developing a change-up, I think? He's a massive man.
  20. I have an absolutely unhealthy and unreasonable crush on Bauer. At this point, it just seems like he isn't signable?
  21. I can. IF we don't sign him we get no replacement next season as this is the pick given back to us from Levonas. I would be entirely unsurprised if we sweeten the deal to keep him in the fold.
  22. Just envisioning the arrival of healthy Woodward, Robinson, Knoth, Broughton and now we add two upside lefties? Drooling?
