Yeah, they don't have any other option? Really? Jerking him back and forth doesn't really do any good, but here we are once again with him having spent a minute at AAA back with the Brewers continuing to suck. I don't care if it burns an option, but he needs to spend the rest of the year at AAA.
Must be hard as a Brewers pitcher knowing you can't make a single mistake or your team loses the game.
And as a reminder, the Braves gave up 37 runs the 5 games between playing the Brewers and are on pace to give up 1 in 3 games against the Brewers with that 1 run coming on a WP.
In 5 games since the Brewers visited Atlanta, the Braves have given up 37 runs or 7.4 runs a game. Back to facing the Brewers and that stellar pitching staff is throwing goose eggs.
The Issue to me is that Watkins and Cobb are likely to miss some of the season. That get's us back to Lazard and a bunch of rookies (rookies lite) if both are out for significant time. I think they kick the tires on a vet during training camp (or before depending on who is released early) just for insurance.
Do the Bulls win all those championships with Michael Jordan without Scottie Pippen? Middleton isn't the same quality as Pippen, but he isn't that far away to just ignore what a difference he makes when present.
I really wonder how they calculate the runs differential because the 3 top "Impactful Missed Calls" are not needle movers at all. Another silly stat that has no real correlation to real baseball.
Jerry Jeudy is under arrest.
Well I was one who would have been happy trading Rodgers to the Broncos for a draft pick haul + players, but I believe many scenarios had Jerry Jeudy coming to the Packers. Given that he now has some legal troubles he might be available for a conditional 8th round pick, but I doubt the the Packers would want him now. If it isn't a serious issue, maybe they could buy low.
Hunter Renfroe has 7 HR for the year including 6 solo HR with 12 RBI. For comparison Adames has 8 HR/23 RBI, Rowdy has 7 HR/26 RBI and Yelich has 5 HR/20 RBI. He's had plenty of opportunities to bat with men on base as his LOB = 49 for the season and while Adames and Yelich are consistently at the top of the order, Tellez has been close to Renfroe most of the year. Somebody else commented that he will give you about 30HR and a bunch of doubles, but will some of them be with runners on base? That's some light hitting.
