  1. That's correct. Thought washington was 12.
  2. looking for a QB?
  3. First trade Saints jump to 12.
  4. Well if the QBs keep dropping the Packers might be able to find a willing trade down partner as they are placed well for teams wanting to get a rookie QB in the first.
  5. Oh good, Michael Buble is coming up to discuss the draft.
  6. I wonder if he's always walked like he was a 60 YO.
  7. Ekwonu lasted until the 22nd pick in 1 of the sim drafts I had. Of course I picked him for the Pack.
  8. Gee Chris Angel got the first three correct too? Or is Chis Angel, Tony Pauline's stage name?
  9. It's idiotic to give the #1 team 10 minutes. They've had 4 months.
  10. If only all the first round picks were so quick.
  11. I wonder how many of the people with the knowledge of what's going to happen tonight have free time to "chat" with a news source to let them know anything. It's not like the biggest 3 nights/day of their year won't take up 100% of their time for weeks before, let alone within 24 hours of the draft they have time to get those reliable leaks out. As you say, if there's a leak, it's for a purpose and part of business.
  12. I'm as disappointed as anyone in how poorly Taylor has started the year, but it's 30 PA's of pretty much inconsistent usage. Maybe PART of the reason the Stearns/CC team can't develop any hitters is because they set them up to fail, then point at their failure and well there you go, they sucked anyways. Cain, Wong, Adames, Renfroe for >30PA were all black holes in the lineup, but they continue to get the starts no matter how atrocious they play. Is Taylor a HOFer being held back? No, but he had a 1.3 fWAR in 271 PA last year and is a decent option to give ABs to when there is clearly a multitude of failing spots in the lineup. Actually by the game logs it looks like CC decided after 24 PAs that Taylor should be playing every 3 days. TWENTY-FOUR. Half the board is in an uproar because a few posters are upset with the start of the season, but if the Brewers do a small sample move then it's because that player is crap. How about setting players up to succeed.
  13. The issue that's been brought up over and over is that it's clear from the past few years that McCutchen can't hit RH pitching anymore. I'm sure they aren't paying him $8.5M just to platoon against LH pitching, but I would have thought there was going to be some attempt to reduce his exposure to RH pitching. Well the good thing is that the chances this offense will get worse (barring injury) is pretty close to winning the lottery so, yeah, they are going to get better.
  14. Well they could be using a new strategy. Most MLB teams try to improve the worst hitter, while it appears the Brewers are making all of their other hitters worse so the previously worst batter is now the best. Interesting strategy.
  15. What? Teams can score after they're down to their last out? How did they get a 5 run HR?
  16. Both this outlet and acme packing say that "CheeseheadTV's Aaron Nagler" said... I can't find anything on CheeseheadTV about this. Was it an offhand comment in one of the podcasts and in the desperation for clicks and phony news this comes out? Derek Carr already tweeted it's not going to happen. From all accounts he was part of the initial Adams trade (adams for 1st round pick + Waller), but the league office refused to allow it because a player can't be traded for a tagged player (the Raiders then swapped out Waller for their 2nd round pick). Adams didn't sign with the Packers first, he was traded to the Raiders who signed him so a player can't be part of that transaction to the Packers. Now that the Raiders have Adams why would they get rid of a Waller? Edit: Is there another team that values draft picks less than the Raiders (other than a Ryan Pace managed team)?
  17. I don't see any smoke and mirrors from the Giants offense, They just take advantage of most gifts and opportunities while the Brewers need at least 2 defensive miscues by the opponent to get a run across most times.
  18. If only we could get 3 of them in the postseason!
  19. I guess you have to argue the pitch you got, but that was the closest strike to the strike zone all night for Hernandez.
  20. Let's get lucky! Bam. Bam. Bam Bam Bam. Let's get lucky! Bam. Bam. Bam Bam Bam.
  21. I have a feeling this is going to come down to a blooper or a broken bat hit. Both of which are right in the Brewers wheelhouse. Let's get lucky!
  22. Yep. Swinging and missing is so much more exciting than bat making contact with ball. Glad baseball is putting all their energy into determining the best base size or banning shifts because clearly both of those will fix the swing and miss.
