Did anyone see the intensity on Zaun's face and body reaction there? I'm 2 hours away and felt a little intimidated. Seriously, he looked like he was going to eat a child or something there...I LOVE IT!!!!

Hoffman really needs to be taken out of the closers role. Hopefully he does it himself and retires very soon....

I am ready for Zaun and Macha to be gone. Zaun cannot frame a pitch (I actually miss that part of J. Kendall) and is seemingly horrible at calling a game. Macha has completely lost this team and it is starting to show. These players seem to be just going through the motions this series. With the youth that is on this team it seems like they need a manager that is going to get on their butts and keep them focused. When they are going good...they are all happy. Now, they are all sagging and hoping that the game ends ASAP. Not a good situation right now...

This is the first game that I have been able to watch this entire year. I cannot watch this garbage any more. firekenmacha.com anyone? It really looks like he has lost this team with this "effort".

Sure...every announcer screws up every now and then. But have you listened to a game this year? I have been on the road for nearly all of them and he has clearly lost it. The last few years it has been getting a little funny to hear him getting old. This year...he is just old. I love the guy as I have grown up listening to him but it is a relief to me this year when Cory gets an inning...

I was going to come home and post something about Uecker and this post was here. I listened to the entire game on the radio yesterday and 1/2 of the game today and can honestly say that I cannot stand listening to Ueck any longer. Seriously, he has really started to miss a ton of the action and his stories are getting confusing at times. Maybe it's time for the old boy to hang up the mic and do celebrity color appearances for a living...

Where is the Fox Pitch Trax on that one? To be fair, it looked like it tailed enough to get to the zone but I'm not sure if that happened before it was "around" the plate or at the front of the plate...

Stupid shadows. It seems like all of the swings from the left hand side are off. Is it harder to see from over there due to the sun/shade? Edit: at least Jimenez is working hard in the early innings. Maybe the Crew can get into the pen early and use them up for games 2 and especially 3...

battlekow or anyone else in the know. Is it attitude for Lawrie or work ethic? Maybe he really doesn't like to play 2b...and is really a catcher at heart? Remember...the Catcher is involved in every play and it is easy to stay in a game. 2b is pretty boring if you ask me... -

Isn't an emergency starter from AAA probably your 7th or 8th best option already? Not many teams out there go 7 or 8 deep as quality or star potential pitchers. I see nothing wrong with Villy being that emergency option now and in the future. I don't think that endaround was suggesting that he has a bright future as a possible starter but as an emergency guy. With as much experience as he has he fits pretty well in that role. -
Hey all, Sorry for yet another computer-related question but I own a HP notebook with Vista that is getting VERY slow. I have tried to erase as many garbage files as possible, I have done a disc clean-up and have closed as many of the running programs as possible but it is still very sluggish in going between applications, it doesn't always shut down properly (gets stuck in the shut down process) and it basically acts like it is 5 years old when in reality it is only 14 months old. Any hints?Thanks,Hammer
