  1. One more thing, when you click on player index, and try to use the drop-down menu to view by position, or 25-man, whatever, it doesnt work.
  2. When I click on the links above ... About Us Power 50 Link Report Daily Brew Draft FAQ Transactions Player Index Links Fan Forum I get errors and can't access them, at least not from the fan forum section. Also, could you give me step-by-step directions in getting to the team salary page, i have it bookmarked but can't figure out how to get there otherwise. thanks.
  3. I know I know, you' d think those 9 ABs in 1982 would have stuck with me a little longer.
  4. ahhh, yeah I was sure there was a technical reason why something like that wasn't already on the cite. I used baseball-reference and baseball-almanac to compile my player lists. I just thought it might be a cool thing to have here. For instance, I never knew that Kevin Bass was a former Brewer until I looked into it a little more. Having a Brewer database here would allow people to scan it and see who has played for the Brewers. Anyhow, if you are ever interested...
  5. Brian - I don't think BF.net has this feature available but it might be kind of cool to have. That is, a running list of every player ever to play a single game in a Brewers Uniform. It could be a database of sorts for people wondering about what happened to that utility infielder from 1987?? It might contain on one line their career stats as a Brewer, as well as their overall career numbers. It would also be strictly major league players. I'd be willing to help compile the data and send it to you as well. I already have a pretty good list of guys from when I created my OOTP all Brewers league (Which I will be updating soon by the way!!). Let me know if you are interested.
  6. yeah I am here from the ESPN/phearinc days. Those days sucked. You Rule Brian. Thanks.
  7. Thanks, lets see if it works <-------------------------------
  8. Does it have something to do with signing in at the Brewerfan.net political science board?
  9. Boo Hoo, It happened to me too Joe, how do I fix it??
  10. Game is on ESPN right now, Yanks-Sox in Rain Delay
  11. That has to be as much as any one pitcher has pitched to Bonds all year. Props to DD.
  12. Did we just get 3-hit by a guy who hadn't won a game in the bigs in 3 years??? Answer: Yes
  13. Does anyone else have a sick feeling about this game? The game isn't over is it?? THen yes, I am sick about this game, well maybe it is the Pizza Hut...why did I order Pizza Hut?
  14. OMG - There's been a Nelson Figeroua sighting!!!
  15. 30 minutes to game time, does anybody care?? Do I?
  16. I'll be dammed if this isnt the best 6th place team in baseball.
  17. Bonehead move of the day - Ned Yost lets Travis Phelps hit for himself to lead off the seventh. Travis leads off with a strikeout, then heads out for his third inning of work and sets the table for the top of the Phillies lineup. Anyone want to clue me in on this bit of strategy by Ned??
  18. What is this team's problem?? Consistently getting beat by pitchers with ERA's well over 5.00 or 6.00 and giving up HRs to hitters who are close to being released or sent down?? Is it me or does just about every player "get well" against The Brewers??
  19. Why is the only guy hitting above .300 the one who keeps sliding in the batting order?? I know the Lyle has hitting #5 for a week or so now but what good does he do there when Pods and Counsell/Clark lead off with hits, then Jenks whiffs, Helms/Branyan whiffs and then Lyle hits a long fly out?? It would seem to me that Overbay is the perfect #3 hitter for this team since our #1 and #2 guys get on base, then Overbay up to hit #3, keep the rally going, then Jenks, Then Branyan to go for the HR...right??
  20. I'd copy and paste those lame Godsmack lyrics, but at this point I'm really kind of holding out for a new DK song. I nominate Do The Evolution by Pearl Jam. Do the Evolution? "I am ahead, I am advanced, I am the first mammal to wear pants. I'm at peace with my lust, I can kill cause in God I trust, yeh, it's Evolution Baby!" Great song, but Hmmm, can we do better? This might need it's own thread. I nominate Gorilla Radio by Rage Against the Machine. Well, we can at least skip the political message at the beggining and go righ to - "It has to Start someplace, it has to start sometime...What better time than now, what better place then here? All...Hell.....Can't Stop us Now" Other possibilities... PJ- Corduroy PJ- Go NIN- The perfect drug? White Zombie - More Human Than Human - Nice Dave Matthews - Save Me - eh, nice song, but too bad its about God, not baseball Blur - Song 2 Soundgarden - Pretty Noose Filter - Hey Man, Nice Shot Alice In Chains - Over Now...That'd Very nice Foo Fighters - My Hero Soundgarden - Outshined Talking Heads - Burning Down the House (er- wait, thats' Vizcaino's song)
  21. I consulted my optimism generator, which was barking at me, and it told me to remind everyone that a ninth inning victory would be cooler than an eighth inning victory, so there ya' go. Hate to play the pessamist Bill, but with David MIA for awhile I cant help but step in and say that it is highly unlikely THIS offense will put runners on second and third with no outs again this game.
  22. I am sure it isn't ALL the time, but it sure seems like every time Ginter comes up, runner on third, less than 2 outs he fails to get the runner in. Like I said, I am sure it just SEEMS that way. is there really any difference to a game where we lose 1-0 and have no chances to score versus a game we lose 7-6 and have multiple chances to score runners from 3rd with no outs? Answer: No. This sucks.
  23. If there is no such thing as "clutch" That must mean that the Brewer offense is just really really bad. This team is definitely average and has been fun to watch. I think they can finish at or above .500 but the offense is really, really bad and there is no way around it.
  24. A few more of these and we wont even be able to say that we are playing above expectations this year. What an awful performance at the plate today and the entire second half. Lets hope Sheets can throw about 13 innings of shutout ball tomorrow.
