Black/Monasterio platoon at 3B should be the way to go moving forward imo. -
Tyrone Taylor's value is actually rock solid. Been above average (100+ wRC+) hitter every season of his career with solid power numbers and above average defense everywhere in the OF. What you're seeing right now is a huge regression to the mean with how awful he started the year (due to not being fully recovered from his injury). Wiemer is going to have to look like a major league hitter at some point.

Nice performance from Lauer. You have to feel pretty decent about our SP depth should someone (*Cough*) Miley (*Cough) go down again.

I don't know what to say with Hiura anymore until he actually faces MLB pitching again. Because I still could easily see him getting the call and striking out with his usual frequency to where it cancels out whatever power he shows. At the same time, there is some reason to believe that the changes he's made could be the difference. We'll find out their intentions by Sept 1st.

Hasn’t been playing that much better than Anderson. Hopefully Tyler Black starts to heat up in AAA.

Monasterio has been a nice little story, but he hasn’t been playing well lately, on offense or defense.

Oh boy. Peguero against the top of the order. Not a fan of the impending matchup against Seager.

I did not like the idea of trading Urias and leaving it up to Monasterio, Turang, and Anderson.

He has a great arm and when the ball is in the zone good things tend to happen. Unfortunately, you never know where you're going to get a meltdown outing from Megill where he can't find the zone.
