  1. Nobody should be dialed into their spot. But you also shouldn't be making changes based on 4 games. Yelich has still been our best OBP/speed threat over the past few years, and Turang is still a rookie who will inevitably experience his fair share of bumps. No need to add that pressure so early into his career. If he keeps it up into May/June, then it might be something to consider, but for now, it's better to keep things where they are while we're scoring runs.
  2. Nice to not even have to warm up Devin, too.
  3. 10-0 shutout. What a fun opening day and first few games of the season! Tomorrow going to be a lot more difficult with Scherzer. Hopefully we can keep the good vibes flowing on offense.
  4. Yes, by all means let's load the bases for Pete Alonso...
  5. Again, Yelich is our best on base threat (other than Winker). Also, Yelich in 2022 vs. Taylor in 2022: .252/.355/.383 (111 wRC+) .233/.286/.442 (102 wRC+)
  6. A little too much air on that, Jesse. Still nice to see that exit velocity. Power is coming...
  7. ? Maybe the fact that you want a lineup change in game #4 of the season when Turang is still a rookie and Yelich led the team in OBP last season, and the season before that, and the season before that...
  8. Okay Bryse Wilson. Please don't suck.
  9. Yeah. Probably time to get Bryse Wilson his first action of the season.
  10. Probably a good time to call it a day for Freddy at 85 pitches and a 10 run lead. Really good to see him throwing mid 90s in the 6th inning and zero 80 mph fastballs like late last season after the shoulder injury.
  11. Nice thing about Turang is that his slumps won't look as ugly as the typical Brewer because he still makes contact and gets on base...
  12. Please tell me, what game # is this?
  13. Why it'll be big when Urias, Taylor, etc. return...
  14. If he starts showing power, we have a star on our hands folks....
  15. Contreras is another significant speed upgrade over Narvaez...
  16. Kinda sad we'll only have Winker for one season. For the best though with his lack of base-running and defensive value and with Yelich set to transition to DH amid our explosion of young OFs from the minors...
  17. Freddy at 61 pitches only. With Woody and Corbin I would say ride em, but Freddy is different coming off a shoulder injury. Shooting for 7...
  18. Upgrade from Wong's defense at 2B last season to Turang also is huge...
  19. Freddy breaking out the strikeout stuff now.
  20. Yep. So refreshing to have a guy who gets on base and makes contact at the top of the lineup.
  21. ??? Winker has always been one of the better contact hitters in the sport...Power (until last year) and contact.
