  1. Also worth noting the spike Yelich might get in his stats from the banning of the shift next year...
  2. There's terrible first posts and then there's this...
  3. Mitchell will be the CF of Frelick, Ruiz, and Wiemer. Elite speed and defense. Tap into that raw power and you have a star....
  4. Never said it wouldn't be nice. What Yelich is doing right now is not worth $26 million. However, he's far from a useless player. Getting on-base is extremely important, especially when you're hitting leadoff which Yelich is and have a lack of OBP elsewhere on the roster.
  5. Might have to do with the fact that he's one of the truly great guys in the game. Yes, his lack of power has been frustrating and his error last week in extras was just awful, but he still gets on base really well, which this team really needs. Of course, just a little more power would go a long ways for everyone.
  6. Bush has a nasty curveball though. Reminds me of Knebel. Wish he would get that fastball up in the zone just a little more to pair with the curve.
  7. I'm not playing victim of any sort. But there's a problem when people are excited over something good happening for the Brewers, and he feels the need to go ahead and put people down for cheering.
  8. Mitchell will provide a ton of value playing CF in the coming years....Looking forward to seeing how his bat has progressed.
  9. Not that a win is clinched yet by any means, but a win today means very little without a win tomorrow, and then the next day...Gotta stack up wins at this point.
  10. What is wrong with you. Just let people be excited over a Yelich HR.
  11. Still hits it as hard as anyone in the game. Please elevate the ball like that more often and get hot over the next month.
  12. If there was any doubt whether Woodruff is an ace...Ace performance today. And has been an ace since coming off the IL...
  13. He's been starting pretty much every day lately. The only times he hasn't started was against two lefties, which he struggles against. McCutchen should still be the DH over Hiura against LHP.
  14. Because Brosseau is on the IL....Unless you want Keston at 2B again, which was fine yesterday because Peralta is a heavy flyball pitcher, but shouldn't happen regularly. Hiura doesn't hit lefties well anyways.
  15. A bunt here would be very helpful, but it isn't going to happen, ughh.
  16. And now a horrendous missed caught-stealing...
  17. Some absolutely horrendous missed strike calls here.
  18. Turang homers again in AAA. That's an all-star player if his recent power uptick is for real. At the very least, it should be a ticket for a call-up, alongside Frelick. Jonathan Davis is such a waste of a roster spot.
