  1. I think CC has been trying to win games this whole time...
  2. Yeah, ultimately, this all means very little as the season is going to be determined by the likes of Watkins, Lazard, Doubs, etc. and not Touré or Winfree.
  3. Winfree cut, so looks like they're going to indeed go with Touré. Hopefully they will be able to sneak him onto the practice squad as I like the development he's shown, plus the rapport with Rodgers. With the seemingly better communication between Rodgers and management, I don't think this will be a Kumerow situation, and expect that Rodgers was involved in some capacity.
  4. Hill was a 4-star per some sites. Traditional drop-back like Mertz with an absolute cannon for an arm, but also a big dude who may be even more of a statue in the pocket. Burkett was not as sought-after, but is definitely more than a filler guy. Tremendous athlete who needs to work on his throwing, but has great potential there, too. They're both guys with some real potential, though they also are very raw and inexperienced compared to Wolf.
  5. He is a great kid. Although, not sure why I'm calling him a kid when he's my age lol.
  6. After struggling for a while there, Willy Adames has been really good in the last week or so. Taking the ball the other way, too. Seems like as he goes the Brewers go sometimes.
  7. Careful. I literally just said the same thing about being away doing personal stuff for awhile and got excoriated for it. But, yes, Craigtember is upon us!
  8. Again, please point out where I've said I know more than everybody else, thank you. I don't think you'll find it. I actually come here because there's people who know more about the game than me and I appreciate their insight. You seem to think you know a lot about my personal life suggesting I wasn't away at dinner when I was out with my SO on our anniversary.
  9. I've acknowledged that I was wrong about him. His production outweighs all the Ks at this point, and the adjustments that he's made to his swing seem to have really made a difference.
  10. This is quite incredible and just so wrong. Where did I ever say "I'm the only level-headed baseball thinker." You won't find it, because I never said it. There are actually a lot of level-headed thinkers on here and it's the main reason why I decided to join this site in the first place. But what has become intolerable is people like you who blow up threads with your constant negative crap. For instance, I remember when you wanted to send Peralta down to AAA after two starts this year....
  11. Not trying to be your daddy. Not sure why it needs to go to that, as I mostly appreciate your takes on the Brewers. Was just pointing out how calling the Cubs "lowly" doesn't exactly give the full picture.
  12. I'm here cause I'm a fan of the Brewers and enjoy talking baseball with fellow die-hards. Maybe you don't remember, but the owner of this site issued a warning a few months back about how the in-game threads have increasingly gone off the rails negativity wise. You can deny it all you want and call me a "high and mighty elite" (whatever that means), but it's not just me who's complained.
  13. What is your problem. I actually have a life and a SO I have to spend time with, thank you very much. But that's par for the course for you considering you contribute so little and are one of the biggest debbie downers.
  14. Not even just the in-game threads, though they are by far the worst. I just read a post yesterday about how we should fire Counsell....
  15. Nice to see the Phillies blow a 7 run lead against the Dbacks.
  16. Had to take a break from the game thread for a couple of hours as I was out to dinner. Having now read through what I missed, I really miss the game-threads of a couple years ago or even a year ago. Actual level-headed analysis, then. Not so much now....
  17. I would cool it down a little bit. Cubs have been a decent team since July.
  18. Garrett Mitchell literally saves the day (and potentially the season). We need Corbin to get right, though.
  19. Nice to have options in AAA that aren't Pablo Reyes.
  20. Pirates are so stupid pitching Wilson on TWO day's rest.
  21. 2nd most difficult actually.... https://www.tankathon.com/mlb/remaining_schedule_strength
