Good come from behind win. Would have been hard to find a way to stay positive about this team's chances the rest of the season had they lost this one. Hopefully some of the other scores around the league turn out our way now.
-
Okay, Rogers. Please close this thing out and don't ruin my Sunday.
-
He would be on par with the best hitters in the league if he can ever figure out how to at least spoil that high fastball on a consistent basis. Has crazy hands and bat speed though.
-
I'll agree with you that he needs to play every day for now, and that the onus is on CC to find him playing time.
-
YES KESTON!!!!! I'll take the L on him for now. Defying K% history.
-
Okay. And when I refer to the facts, this is what I mean fwiw.
-
That was refreshing from Boxberger. Not playing any games.
-
McCutchen doesn't know how to baseball.
-
I would really try to get an add-on run here.
-
Joey Votto says hello. And Ferguson Jenkins.
-
Come on Yelich. Need one of your ground balls to the right side.
-
Why not take a look at your first post to me today (as well as your last several towards me) and think about why I responded the way I did.
-
Quit trying to project when you not only misrepresented my opinion, but then called me "quite the exaggerator" and gave me a big "LOL"....
-
And yet, I immediately asked you the clarifying question of "You don't think Burnes and Woodruff are aces?"...You didn't answer in the affirmative, so naturally I perceived this as including Burnes. Either way, the facts are that Burnes and Woodruff are top 10 pitchers in the league since 2020, with Burnes being #1 due to DeGrom having been injured.
-
I was talking about Burnes since 2020, dude. But you have a hard time with reading comprehension so I'll cut you some slack.
-
Robots....
-
I really don't care, actually. But to say crap like Burnes, who has statistically been the best pitcher in baseball since 2020, is a "supposed ace" just flies so far against the face of reality that it's hard to ignore.
-
No hitter gone at least.
-
So, being the best in baseball isn't good enough for you? Good luck never being pleased then....
-
You're hard to please. Before his last outing against the Dodgers, Woodruff went 6/7 quality innings in 6 out of his last 7 starts.... And if you don't think that Burnes is an ace, then you don't know baseball. Literally the best pitcher in baseball since 2020.
-
Dang it. That wasn't even a bad pitch.
-
Yesterday.
-
"Supposed aces"? You don't believe Burnes and Woodruff are aces?
-
Yelich benched after an atrocious performance yesterday in extras. Let him think about how his performance is costing his team, while he's nevertheless raking in the dough.
-
Relevant. We really need a win today, though.
