  1. Everything I've read is that the Nats wanna resolve the Bell situation first so they can focus all their attention on Soto.

  3. Interesting, cause I see a spot for him on the roster as a Jace Peterson replacement. I just think he's so hot at the plate and defends at such a high level that we could use him right now, He wouldn't be starting every day for sure, but I still think they can find him enough at-bats.
  4. Mark my words. By next week, he will either be on the Brewers' active roster or in another organization altogether.
  5. Exactly. Turang is rated as a 60 grade defender by most services. So, if he can continue to hit around .280-.300 with a high OBP and even a little power, he should prove to be quite valuable.

  7. Doesn't really add anything in terms of immediate offense and would only accentuate our main issues (K's, OBP). That said, he is elite on the defensive end and has more upside than a guy like Davis. Definitely looks like a classic Stearns "buy-low" move.
  8. Just like Castellanos was the clear better hitter/player than everyone else, right? I think it's far from a certainty based on Martinez's age and his subpar play over the last couple months. And, as also stated above, he's got no value whatsoever on defense as he's limited strictly to DH. That matters a lot to a team like the Brewers that already has McCutchen and likes to rotate its other position players at DH....
  9. Awesome homestand. Now, go Blue Jays and let's take it to the slumping Red Sox.
  10. Oooooo. 111.4 off the bat for Yelich on the single. Striking the ball very well lately, too.
  11. Yeah. I don't think there's any doubt he's giving us more than last year right now.
  12. Agreed. But what good is fandom without a little hope...I'll certainly take leadoff Yelich, even though it's short of what we're paying for.
  13. Urias and Wong combo has won us some games this past week...
  14. Coincidentally (or perhaps not), this is around the time our offense heated up last year....
  15. @Brock BeauchampIs this not throwing strikes by Twins pitchers a new thing?
  16. Yelich can rival Soto with some of the at-bats he has...
  17. Twins have a good lineup. No lead is ever safe against them.
